OMG, it sounds good actually. I wonder why people on the internet make it seems like German is always angry all the damn time.

011azr I'm american and so many people here in the states seem to think that it sounds angry, when to me it doesn't at all. I'm trying to learn the language myself. I took french for four years when I was in high school and I still remember many of the words and phrases and that was a very long time ago, lol.
@011azr

timothy moore I took Japanese back then and I feel like I didn't learn anything other than the hiragana+few katakana letters and extremely few words. I don't even know any kanji, lel xD. I don't mean to make Japanese seems hard, I'm just lazy after all xD. Mandarin is much harder. I don't know about French though, but I heard German is harder. French would be easier if we know the other language from the same basic root like Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. They have quite similar vocabulary. However, Japanese barely have any similar vocabulary except for the recent things like television or computer. The rest? It feels so random and feels like learning an entirely new language.

I once tried to dabble in Mandarin Chinese years ago and was frustrated with it, so I didn't continue to try to learn it. I was good at french and german isn't that hard as I once thought it to be. I just have to get the grammar down and I should be okay. German doesn't give me the headaches or frustration I had with Mandarin at all.
@011azr

timothy moore I know. Also, Mandarin use different symbol for everything. There is no normal letter like any other language. Even Japanese and Korean has letter but Mandarin don't have one. However, if you able to speak Mandarin well, it would be extremely easy to speak Japanese and Korean since they borrow so many of their vocabularies and kanji/hanja from Mandarin. Hangul from Korean is very easy. I can learn the letter just in a few hours. There is only 24 letters and most of them are vowel letters. The rule is pretty easy. It's a bit like Arabic letters where you put vowel along with the consonant. It might even be easier to learn this than other alphabet like Greek alphabet or Russian alphabet.

Thank you for this video! I found it on a search to hear casual German speakers since I am learning from DuoLingo, so it is much appreciated. I watched it twice and will come back as my skills improve. As a new learner, it would be even more helpful if people spoke just a bit more slowly. It was engaging to see the smiling faces. I noticed there were few older folks or people of color; perhaps just who was passing by that day.

Alex vladz As can I, and from what I have experienced in my pursuit of learning both languages, along with others, is that Arabic seemed to possess more difficulty than German. Such being so that German is a Romantic Language and holds closer linguistic roots to English rather than Arabic, which holds very little. After all, English did evolve from German. Thank you.

+Alex vladz Bitch please. arabic grammar is much more complex. I learned german very fast and it is easy for me. I gave up on Arabic after trying it for years. I cannot even have a general convo with someone. So I started to learn spanish which is much and much easier as well.
