Very nice Lulie it came out fantastic. What a beautiful piece of Maple from the big box store. I am also amazed with the look of the PSL. I have not really seen it except when you used it before. Do they treat that material? I may have to check behind us as they are building some big houses and have all kinds of trimmings laying around. I think what you have is Padauk. It bleed very easily. I have never had Bloodwood bleed and Bloodwood is hard and dense like Purple Heart. And I find Padauk turns like butta! You made yourself a real winner with this one. Gary

@@spindlesworkshop9744 Doing well but we did get a lot of rain today. There was talk of something called a Bomb Cyclone that was to hit the west coast and hit hard in our area here. But we are in the rainy season here now anyway.

Really nice bowl Luie. Did you bore out your banjo to accept other tool rests? I'm having mine bored out so I can use other rests.
