This is not necessarily a build guide however if you are one following along with the series, or are a beginner, I hope you find this video useful!
Its time for another big step in this series and its moving into Steel Production!
This will open up so many door for us as we can get Miner Mk. 2 , Conveyor Mk. 3, and more! Both of which were going to use a lot of in the next couple episodes.
We are at MAXIMUM power usage so next time we will be putting together a much larger coal power facility to give us enough power to last until we make the move to OIL.
Ive been feeling a bit sick going into the holidays but hopefully the videos still keep you entertained and thank you all SO much for supporting this channel.

About the game:
Satisfactory is an upcoming factory simulation game created by Swedish video game developer Coffee Stain Studios. It is a 3D first-person open world exploration and factory building game. The player, a pioneer, is dropped onto an alien planet with a handful of tools and must harvest the planet's natural resources to construct increasingly complex factories for automating all resource needs. The initial goal is to build a space elevator and begin supplying the company the player works for (FICSIT Inc.) with increasingly numerous and complex components for their unknown purposes. Those exports unlock new buildings that make the next export possible.
Satisfactory was made available for early access on 19 March 2019 on the Epic Games Store, and 8 June 2020 on Steam, with cross-platform multiplayer. The factory building aspect of the game has been described as a first-person and 3D version of Factorio. Unlike most other sandbox games like Factorio, the Satisfactory world is pre-generated; every player's map is identical. The game is set on an alien planet named "Massage-2(A-B)b" and the playable area is limited to 30 km2.

Thankfully, you don't have to automate the creation of Black Powder early on. Can hand craft it in the Equipment Workshop. Was worried when i saw you hooking up the 15MW Assembler when your top usage was around 12 under breaking the circuit.
I can't believe there's any coffee left in that cup after falling off the cliff (at 15:15) 😅

Good stuff. Okay, you cut power closer. I thought I was close when I was at 595.5 but I had the 3 new water extractors hooked up. I do like that you can pretty much count on a basic factory and one side hustle in that 600 power from the first plant. I pretty much know what I will build and once all that it cooking I add more power. Speaking of steel though. Over at the crater where you are about to do your power there is a pure iron and pure copper and normal limestone deposit. (Knows it is pure iron, think I am right about the others but don't quote me.) I usually turn that into my starter Motor factory. Especially if I have gotten the copper rotor recipe. If you OC things just right you can also run encased steel beams out of there. It doesn't produce anything in quantities you would need later but it does make a pretty simple basic steel and encased beams plant. Enough to keep you going until you need bigger. Also that means I can only do 1800 power there unless I overclock. I do not remember a time I needed more than 1800 power before I had fuel so it has never been a problem to give up that one node for steel. And I seriously thought the 2 iron nodes you were using were impure. Maybe I have that backwards. I know 2 of those 4 are impure and 2 are normal. I haven't gotten there for the steel build I was talking about cause I got a quickwire stator recipe and have been trying to come up with the best way to put that together from the same Caterium node you cleared. I think I can put together a pretty good motor factory over that instead of the crator but hate using the coal node for that. Long way to move coal and either no steel where you are putting yours or I have to use that coal node you built your power plant from for steel. I like to use that and the sulfur deposit over there for compacted coal. As far as I know that is the best place for compacted coal though there is a pretty fair combo possible on the border of Rocky Desert and North Forest. I guess I could drivre coal from any of the deposits by overclocking what I would need to feed the motor factory. Actually that might be a good thing to check out. My problem with the quickwire stators has been not being sure which way would be most efficient long term. Maybe I build with no limitiation on coal and see what limiting the quickwire would produce and then how much coal I would need. Cool, watched your stuff and figured out how I should proceed....lol

Ooh good tip about the crater where I end up building the power plant next episode. I'll have to remember that area to make steel related factories once we move out of coal power! I really did push it WAY too close with the power in my run this series I'm usually not overclocking as much early on as I did here which played a major role. I'm enjoying learning all these great places you guys make use of for builds I'll be using them in the future! Thanks again for supporting the series Dan hope you had a great holidays! 🙂
