Hello, teacher! It's a good lesson, but I'm a bit confused. "Did I ever tell you..." Why did you put it in the past simple form? Shouldn't it be "Have I ever told you..."? I have no doubts that you chose the correct form, but, please, explain why it is correct in this case.
