In this tutorial, I will give you step by step instructions on this DIY upcycle/recycle project by painting this beautiful, rainbow dot art mandala design on an old pickle bottle/jar. Using ONLY a Q-TIP & PENCIL ERASERS as your handmade tools. This is a happy, colorful, & SUPER EASY design to create. Take your mind away from stressors, one dot at a time. Make this unique gift for a friend or to decorate your place with.

I don't know if it is possible but would you be able to do a tutorial on dotting on ceramic planters? Once the weather warms up i would love to personalize flower pots and planters with dot art. If that's possible.

Lydia, what colors would you use on a black canvas? I purchased an ‘as is’ canvas at Michael’s for .90.
Hi! I love your channel & love the fact you show us how to use supplies we already have to practice with! I’m a walking stick carver & am thinking about doing dot art on a stick to make it fun looking, would you recommend sealing the wood first with something or can a person paint on sanded wood & then seal it after? Thanks so much 😊

Hi! Adding a base coat will definitely help your dots not bleed and deform with the wood grain. It can be done without, but sanding with a very fine sandpaper is a must. Thanks for watching!

No,in some of the other videos I've watched, you chose spray chalk paint as a base. I'm wanting to understand the advantage of using chalk paint 😂
