What a great idea. I bought an exercise ball on clearance and got it home to find it had no plug. I tried 2 plugs I had at home, but they didn't fit. After calling the manufacturer, and multiple stores trying to see where I might be able to get a replacement plug, I watched this vid, and presto, problem solved. Thanks for saving me countless hours and $ driving to try to find something that would fit.

Wow thank you for posting this super easy simple and free plug replacement video. You're right about online prices of actual replacement plugs. If they don't kill you on the price they do it with shipping and handling. Thanks again. Life saver!!!

Thanks. I got it inflated and then couldn't find the plug. Didn't want to bug her around trying to find one when I had duct tape in the drawer. Great idea

Thank you! I put the plug in a safe place while moving. Only problem is I can't figure out where that safe place was. I knew as soon as I paid for a new plug, I would find the original one!

Glad I checked out KZread before ordering more plugs. I actually took a 2 inch wood screw and wrapped it in electrical tape. Works great.

My Frenchie LOVES playing with a giant exercise ball vs a small tennis ball. However, he pulls the plug out ALL the TIME. I actually super-glued the plug and it lasted for about a month and a half. Well, he managed to pull it out AGAIN. I am going to use your duct tape method and hopefully he won't have any 'lips/edges' to get his teeth under and then pull it out. Thank you for the hack because this Frenchie mom is tired of pumping up a giant ball multiple times a day.

Best idea this week! You saved me $7ish as well as having to wait to use this ball for my work from home position that began 2 days ago! I am glad to be able to use the ball as soon as it arrived rather than waiting for the plug to arrive in a few days!

I have an even easier fix. Use a foam ear plug used to block noise. Squeeze it together and plug the hole. Trim off the excess It's easier than working with duct tape. 😊 Works magnificently 👍👍👍
