It's a spatula from Kryolan - It's called CAT TONGUE-FLAT Spatula. But you can use any tool that will not hurt you.

For the metal tool thing can i use like the soft side of a knife

You shouldn’t put knives close to your face! Just use a soft wooden stick or anything else really :-)

Can we use any flour?

I've tried the diy scar wax several times and never managed to make it work for me!

Took me a while to find out the right mixture too - as soon as I am able to shape a ball with the vaseline and flour it works - and then you can always add more flour or Vaseline to shape

how did you apply the Vaseline one did you use glue? and how long does it last ?

For the sticky blood I just mixed Lipstick and Vaseline and smeared it in, it will move around but since it is messy, sticky blood it mostly doesn't matter. If you want blood to stay you can mix in liquid latex or non toxic Elmers glue if you re not allergic to anything there :-)
