Moms Potato Yeast Rolls
3/4 Cup Creamed Potatoes
3/4 Cup Potato Water
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Shortening (Part butter)
3 Eggs (beaten)
2 Pkgs. Yeast
Enough flour to make a soft dough
Mix together milk, sugar, potatoes, potato water, shorening and eggs. Sprinkle yeast over Mixture. Stir until yeast dissolves. Add enough self rising flour to make a firm, soft dough. Place in a greased container and let rise in warm place for 2 hours. Punch down dough well and place in refrigerator until ready to use. Then remove. Cook as biscuits on a greased cookie sheet. Let rise 30 minutes before cooking. I use salted butter on the top before baking Bake 400 for approx 10 min! You will love these The good part is the doigh is good in the refrigerator for 3 weeks!!
