    if you are using the same yarn as her, i recommend sitting under direct light lol. its really hard to see the stiches in the beginning especially if you havnt really used this type of yarn before. and i recommend to try to just crochet circels in the beginning, just to get an idea of how to use it...thats atleast what i did. you will get a hang of it:) it just takes a lil practice...im sorry i dont really know how else to help haha

    Hi! I'm planning to make a whale that's blue on the top and white on the belly- what round would you recommend should I change my color from blue to white? Thank you!

  • @leeseokminletshavepizza1288

    @leeseokminletshavepizza1288

    Жыл бұрын

    From as I can understand and you must know I’m kinda a beginner so I might be wrong. But because her patterns are in circles so you will have to use two colors repeatedly, which means if for one round you have to do 20 single crochet stitches, you will have to go with 10 blues on top and change to 10 whites on the bottom, then keep going for the next.

  • @keirarynne

    @keirarynne

    You could also crochet a white circle that you'll attach onto the belly so that you don't have to worry about changing colors. Hope this helps!

    Don't forget that if you're going to use a bigger hook, you ne3d to use the correct yarn size/ply for it or it will have a lot of holes and be loose

    I recommend any Red Heart yarn (medium weight; 4), it's great to work with for beginners. A 4.5mm hook is what I usually work with but if you think the yarn is too thick for it, try 5.0mm. Hope this helps :)

  • @yeetpea5302

    @yeetpea5302

    The pattern is exactly the same. ☺️ The yarn is thinner, which is why it came out smaller. Using a smaller hook will also make most designs a tad smaller as well, since it creates a tighter stitch.
