My mom used this type pattern years ago to make afghans for all of us. Owing to her dementia, she can’t recall how to do it! I’m so grateful to find this tutorial today! I’ll be able to make “her” blankets for others! Thank you!!

My mom had started making the strips and stopped after 6. There was enough yarn to make a 7th strip. I took the strips and made each one the center of an afghan. I made 7 in different ones for my 7 grandchildren. I gave them to them at Easter this year. I told them how they came about and they liked the story and their afghans.💝 My mom's 8th anniversary of her passing was just November 15th. I can't believe it's been 8yrs. Thank you for this one Crystal. It looks beautiful with the colors you used.💖🤗
