Easy Crochet Drawstring Bag | The Butter Popcorn Drawstring Bag | Leftover Yarn Crochet Project
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Find out how to crochet this super easy drawstring bag to add to your crochet collection. This is an original crochet stitch that I designed while thinking of mouth-watering butter popcorn... without using the popcorn stitch. I hope you'll try this out, especially if you love popcorn.
It also doesn't require a lot of yarn, so it's a good project if you have some leftover yarn from a larger project.
What I used:
Yarn: Fine/Sport weight 100% cotton yarn (30g used)
Hook size: 3.50mm
Basic skills required for this project (US terms used):
- Chain Stitches (CH)
- Slip Stitch (SLST)
- Single Crochet (SC)
- Double Crochet (DC)
- Treble Crochet/Triple Crochet (TR)

I love this pattern. Have made three so far with different colors and types of yarn and given them to family and friends. Working on my fourth pouch now!
I just followed this tutorial and made one smaller than yours. I love this and thanks for being easy to follow!

I'd like to make a smaller one, how many chains did you start with, if you don't mind?

@@orangedog1189 oooo ummmm I forgot - I sold it too so I can't go count them! I think I might have started with 12? I might have went with half the amount in the tutorial

Made a bag and came out so cute! Thank you!
I’m doing the bag now and I really love how beautiful it looks. I had some problem with starting and ending the two repeated rows initially but got the hang of it after a while. And asking us to use the marker really helped. I’m definitely going to use the same method in my other crochet work next time, esp when working in rounds where I tend to get confused as to which stitch to end the round. Tks for this lovely video.
The pattern is super cute and my bag came out great!! Thanks for the tutorial :”)
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS CUTE BAG🙏✝️❤

Love it so much . Thanks ❤
A bit Confusing but end result was good
The bag is so beautiful but I have a problem, sometimes when I’m doing the second crochet round the triple crochet bubble just kinda flattens.. I don’t understand why that happens, could you possibly help?

Hey, I think you might've made a mistake somewhere. I think u might be doing double crochets instead of trebles. You might need to restart it. And sorry for the late answer, I hope this will be helpful.
My bobbles become flat not stick out? Only a few pop out. What am I doing wrong?
Is the yarn play a big role🥲

What brand yarn are you using

Unfortunately, the yarn that I used here didn’t have a label. My mom bought a bunch of these a long time ago. What I know about them is that they are pure cotton. So as long as you find a fine weight (#2) or light worsted weight (#3) yarn that is 100% cotton, your work should look pretty similar to mine, so you’ll be fine with whichever brand!
