Easy Crochet Doily Tutorial - Granny Circle Along!!

In this fifth video for the GRANNY CIRCLE ALONG
I show you how to make my 10 round doily using the Granny Circle from my first tutorial in the series as a base.
I am using 100% Cotton yarn called CHUNKY THREAD
I have been having fun making lots of doilies using many combinations of colors from the CHUNKY THREAD YARN collection.
In my next video I will be showing you how to block your doilies and give you a few ideas on how to finish them and how to use them in your cozy crochet home decor:)
I'm so excited about this crochet along and these projects and I hope that you are too:)
Grab a cuppa...your yarn & hook and enjoy!!

Wonderful circles ❤ You know? I started with circles, not squares! And the problem was to transform them in big granny squares! But then, I found a lot of magic things I could do with the circles ❤❤❤ I can't wait to see what You do with them ❤ thanks! 🎀🌺💐🌸

What a fun tutorial! I learned to crochet when I was 9 years old and have enjoyed crocheting throughout my life. I’ve made many projects using all weights of yarn plus Christmas tree snowflakes to tabletop size doilies. I love your chunky yarns, I must start a multi color doily!

My grandmother was always crocheting when I was growing up. She always made them all in white with a slightly finer thread. I can't ever remember her using any colors. I love them.

I still have to put my skein of wool over the legs of a chair to roll the wool into a ball. Only if I’m buying hand dyed fingering wool fortunately but, yes, nothing much changes🤣❤️

I learned with a thin white thread, at 7 years old, from my Southern Alabama Grandmother. It was probably 4 inch squares that were joined into a placemat. By the time I finished, the white thread was soiled. l have no idea where it is, today.

help...why did my last border get so ruffly and curly it will not lay flat even with blocking? My yarn gauge might have be worsted vs the dk I used for the other rows. Would that be the reason?
