Hello, my name is Sara and welcome to my channel Crochet for Baby. In today's tutorial I will show you how to crochet this beautiful crochet border with fans. It’s fast and easy and you can even add it to any crochet blanket with any crochet stitch and even on knit project like baby blankets.
For the tutorial I used a light #3 baby yarn with a 4.5mm Crochet hook since that is what i used to make the blanket. You will have to use the same hook that you used to make your blanket with.
If this is your first time here, I've been doing crochet tutorials in Spanish for a while now and have been asked by a lot of my subscribers to do tutorials in English too. I hope you like and subscribe to my channel and if you see a tutorial in Spanish and would like for me to do it in English, please comment below with the tutorial number and I will gladly do it. I hope you enjoy my channel and if you decide to subscribe, thank you in advance. I also have a new knitting channel. Link if above.

I like your work, would like to give it a try but i find u are going extremely fast not a good teaching tutoral. I have to repeat your video several times. Can u pl slow down. Thanks
Please you must show it slow as we that are new crochet can't see as you work to fast please thank you love your border.
if you do the single crochet row in a multiple of 6 instead of 10, it comes out even. then you wont have to skip over extra double crochets on the fan row's corners. this is a gorgeous border. thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial.
Why is the pattern for this blanket stitch 130 set to private? Doesn't seem fair when you are showing a beautiful border which goes so beautifully with it. Please post the blanket pattern here if you could or would ... it would be GREATLY appreciated !
My stitch count is 125, will this work?
Months.....of looking... because it had to be JUST RIGHT. FINALLY. And here it is. Thanks so much for this, it means more than you know. This is absolutely gorgeous! Its very selfless of you to just show this for free. Thank you again, you are very much appreciated!! ❤️ ♥️ 🙏🏻🙏🏻
You had a tutorial showing how to finish the fan stitch baby blanket to prepare the edge for a border. I cannot find it. An someone help?
So between every fan , there is a single DC. Right?
Any chance there's written directions? I'm awful at following video instructions
This is so stunning and beautiful! Do you have a written pattern? I would love to do this border but the blanket I want to put it on makes it hard to distinguish what I should do, outside of counting every stitch. I heard where you said each (opposing) side should have 30 or 40 (equal amounts). I feel like I missed something. Thank you so much for any help!
This blanket looks like cupcakes and dreams! Sooo lovely!
Absolutely love this border it certainly made my blanket look special thanks so much for sharing
