I am from Sri Lanka. We make these for our New Year. We do not add sugar. Its listed as a traditional fòod for the table and is known as " Kokis' . For a variation can also add some cheese with hot paprika. The mould comes in shapes. different shapes . Thanks for sharing Wendy. You are the best. ♥️

We use coconut milk .rice flour. Egg. Salt. In srilanka fry with coconut oil

My mother in law taught me how to make these!! Delicious.

The mixture is similar to what we in SriLanka call kokis...sugar free...it's one of our traditional sweet meats on any occasion..
