Amazing tutorial. I have been looking around KZread to find a great landscape tutorial, and... wow! That was great, you laid it out very well and it very easy to understand. Thank you for that, and keep it up!
this was such a good explainer video. i usually watch these side by side with blender but i just sat back and watched this one. gonna give this a shot! working on a space animation and this would be perfect for my ships landing spot
Sorry for the covid ....glad you back and okay
That was the single best explanation of focal length I've seen anywhere--including on top tier photography channels.
this is crazy, so inspiring! definitely will be trying my skills after this
I'm glad you ok now. i was really impressed from your works. thanks for the tutorial
Hey man. Saw your other landscape tutorial the other day and subscribed. Glad to hear you’re feeling better!
That's awesome, dude!! Keep with the great work!
Thanks ! waiting for it impatiently

Amazing as always
very great tutorial, thanks a lot
Just amazing!!!
greetings from Brasil. Very nice and explanatory video. The workflow were very interesting and I learned a lot. Thanks so much.
When will this channel blow up!? Loved the video man!
Just found your channel, hope you are feeling better now, thanks for the tutorial :D
Yo dude. As one was saying in the comments. I was planning to work in blender whilst this video is running on a 2nd monitor. But in the way you were explaining the video, my jaw just dropped and kept watching in excitment with what things you came up with. Simple yet effective. Amazing video, my man :)

Fantastic tutorial. Well done my friend.
Phenomenal!
Lovely tutorial!
Learned so much thanks!
Just a tip: If you use the sky for your background and suddenly your entire scene becomes blown out, it's not because your blender is broken! Real lighting is much more intense than blender's default lights, so to counteract this, decrease the exposure of your camera in the render properties tab.
Love thisss😍😍😍
Thanks....Nice tutorial😊😊 Make more tutorials like this.

This tutorial is great! Could you make one using a simulated waterfall?
Awesome tutorial. I saw you selecting faces manually, however, you could use Ctrl and Shift and + to select the next selection. It doesn't work every time but it saved my time a lot.
thanks we need more mountain tutorials

Hi ! Very nice tutorial with a lot of tips. Thank you. Would it be possible to have a link to download the Master_material please ?
Damn boi🔥
This is sick do make more
Hi, amazing tutorials. But your texture files are missing in the file.
Nice
Thanks a lot for this tutorial. I have really learned from you and my scene creations are getting better. I have a quick question, after trying to composite with the viewLayer, the mist shows after I add the node to my image render, but if I try to render the video, I can not see the mist anymore. How can I solve this please? Thanks
3:50 4:55 13:30 sunset vs sunny midday 20:20 camera moves
hey bro thank you so much for the breakdown ❤ just wanna know what is your system p specs?
question: how do i change the render result to composite in the compositing part? because mines only have combined and mist. maybe its because i uses blender 2.9?
How do I get the master material to relink? I seem to be having some issues with the textures
At 7:43... how exactly do I open the folder containing the materials? I downloaded the blend file but don't know how to import from that session to the one I created. (sorry... I'm not very good at this)

To be honest, ur explanation is really nice and detailed..loved it man.. I see that u seem to be usin' Quixel Mixer..so my question was would we be witnessing texturing tuts in Mixer in the near future?

Hi there! Been following this tutorial and everything has turned out nicely apart from the tree textures. They’re not loading and it makes the scene look a little awkward. Any help??
what aperture / depth of field settings did you use. mine is really blurry and fuzzy.
Dude! THIS IS AMAZING!!! Your asset pack you gave is missing the textures for the mountain shader and the tree... how can i fix this?

Very nice tutorial! As soon as I got to the trees though, my computer started to really slow down. I also have trouble getting my mountains too look like yours, maybe that's a computer issue as well?
@fuglong

once you get particle systems made and in an okay state, turn them off in viewport. No need to have them on for anything but the render. Your mountains probably just need displacement noise texture or material tweaking
Why are the trees for me all coming out as bright pink?
Yoo would anyone mind helping me abit here. I've just started using blender like a week ago so it could just be me being a dummy not importing the materials correctly but my master_material look complete dogshit in comparison to in the video, it follows the general color scheme and i can change the snow height and all that without any issues but it's almost as if the textures doesn't load in which is weird since if i check the preview or any of the textures individually they're all there. Any help with how to fix my material problem would be greatly appreciated! Also i'm using blender 3.0 if that has changed something which breaks it maybe
I downloaded the file and everything worked correctly until I noticed that the trees didn't have any textures, they are just pink

Aw man hope you're feeling better. Just curious, where did you get the trees you mention are heavy for even your pc? I want to abuse my computer ha. Lodify should work with them, it's work with every asset I've ever tried it with.

Great video and great image, just personally I don’t understand why no one use world machine to create really good terrain in blender, and not mediocre terrains like blender add on does, free version of WM can do the trick much better.

My biggest issue is doing real world scale. I'm going to try to model models separate then scale up things. But the cam is messed up and hills for landscapes aren't the same.

Yeah sometimes Its pretty hard to get it right... However, if you are only rendering a still image then I would just try to make it look good and not Care for the Scale.
