I'm a nurse and several of my coworkers are Filipino. They feed me all the time so I started bringing in some of your recipes and they were shocked by how good it was. I love that food can bring people together and I look forward to keep surprising them with delicious food.

sa lahat ng pagluluto one of the best to. wala na maraming ek ek at satsat, luto agad. at di kumplikado gaya ng iba na ang hirap hanapin ng mga rekado. kumbaga ito, direct to the point na at mainspire ka kasi masasabi mo na wow ang dali lang pala pero masarap. thanks po for the recipe. I cooked this today kuya fern. Lovely 😜🌹 but i replaced the sugar with a chili powder and i add a little bit of cooking cream and the taste is heaven. Your technique was so easy to follow. Im a good chief now. 🤣😜

@@KuyaFernsCooking thank you. I tried your ginisang hipon with sitaw and kalabasa. It's a little different because of the number of Squash types they have here. I used butternut Squash and it turned out great. Coconut milk is from a can, not fresh like in the Philippines but the flavors were there. Thanks for all the Pinoy food videos. Yes I do appreciate them, because the sequence of cooking preparation makes a lot of sense which makes your dishes stand out. Specifically because your techniques and steps definitely maximizes the ingredients flavour and the right textures into the dish. Yung technique nyo po sa pansit about sa sabaw ay napakalaking bagay po talaga para sa mga begginer na tulad ko. Never been tried pansit cooking in my 40 years of life hahaha but i tried once, saka yung thinking na matagal daw lutuin ang pansit at mabusisi kasi nga mahirap tantyahin ang tubig, then ang gulay napakadami hihiwain. But your pansit is simple but pansit na pansit at napakadali lang e prepare. My foreigner husband loves it. Lol. My first try medyo naalatan ko sa panlasa ko, second time is perfect. Hindi sya over cooked, Hindi din malata, At ang gulay is perfect ang pag kakaluto. Galing galing ni kuya fern.

I usually fry my chicken a bit till light brown, hence the name afritada meaning fried. I also do not add sugar. Afritada is not a sweet dish but i guess to each his own. You might happen to like yours sweet.

It’s to balance the flavor because some tomato sauce is very tangy especially if you put tomato paste in it. I agree with the frying but I do it in my wok with high and fry the chiken in their own fat.

Hi kuya ferns, i like your style of cooking , any tips on how to cook by bulk just like 20kg of chicken i try before its really difficult can i bake the chicken first and cook the ssauce separately. Any tip bro .thanks have a n8ce day GOD bless

it's really hard to cook 20kg.. you could saute them on separate pans and prepare the sauce and put it in while the sauce is cooking.. 😉😊
