LOVE YOU! 💖
Is it just me that thinks this? I feel that Becky and Kelsey work SO hard but don't get the appreciation they deserve. From all of the brainstorming for video ideas and buying supplies to make DIYs these girls need to get noticed! I have followed this channel for a while and its growing pretty slow, which makes me mad/sad because I absolutely love this channel and want this amazing channel to flourish. ily guys! 💖

thanks for the kind words! we love what we do. we appreciate anyone that spreads the word about The Sorry Girls but your support also means the world to us :)
You're KIDDING me. I just moved in with my boyfriend and while he's letting me handle most of the decor, one of his few requests was a "comfy headboard" and I've been dying inside trying to come to terms with buying an ugly tufted one.... and then this. You guys are truly always here for me. #blessed

Becca R we are here for you!! glad we could help you with a solution
I recommend adding another piece of fabric to the back so it's like a giant sleeve, and stapling at the bottom, otherwise the staples rub the paint off the wall when you lean against it to read etc in bed xxx

good point :) i have seen people who make it like a pillow cover, with a zipper or velcro at the bottom, gives you a smootg surface too + you can wash it (not sure of how it was hanged tho, kind of forgot)

Sure, just hand sewing some cheap and durable fabric on the back is a way to go :)

See Billy Run They usually have the prices listed on their blog (link in the description) I think it came out to about $132 CAD
Looks just as good as the West Elm one! 🛏
Haven’t even watched it and already know I’m going to love it.
I'm getting ready to move in a couple weeks and i am getting some new furniture, and while I love my current bed frame and headboard, I love this more. I'm going to home depot and Michaels tonight and making this exact same headboard in a silvery/gray velvet. I am also going to make it so i can attach it to my bedframe. Thanks for the tutorial!

Find a second-hand standing music stand (e.g. for a violinist, flautist or other standing musician.) Clean it well and spray-paint it white. I have one that is designed to hold three pages of sheet music side-by-side (e.g. for a choral director) and it is perfectly stable for a big canvas. If you need more height stability, you can clamp a large sheet of thin plywood or foam board to it. My music stand/easel was free second-hand from a musician who had several and was trying to de-clutter. For outdoor stability (e.g. in a breeze) you can wrap a sand bag around the base. You can make your own from heavy-duty lawn/leaf bags.
How much did it cost to make it with all the materials? 💓

im not sure how much the wood costs or if press board is cheaper but ive seen tutorials like this that use pegboard ( especially for the tufted look where they utilize the holes for the tufted look )

I did this same exact method to build my own headboard, except I added 2x4's to the back for legs. Living with Pip is dead on with the price. I paid under $50 for the wood, stain, fabric, foam, and batten.

Bettie Tabor how did you find foam that cheaply? 3” foam near me is no less than $50-60 on its own.

I’m moving into my first apartment and I have been looking for headboards!! You ladies are incredible! I’m your biggest fan, it’s like you post exactly what I want to diy or buy! I love you
SO CUTE
Guyyyys this is such perfect timing bc I've been shopping endlessly for a velvet headboard 😭 this headboard is so satisfying! ♡♡♡♡♡
Perfect blush color!!!! Like how you explained the more knowledgeable tufted headboard versus this westelm inspired headboard. ....great alternative! I want a velvet one!!!!
i love the diagrams on the side!
5:38 "Can you see it, can you see it, can you see it" was very Grace Helbig! LOVE IT!

what fabric is it?
Really appreciate the visual how-to with the shapes and all in the corner!
For a cleaner finish (and to avoid scratching the wall) you can cut a piece of cardboard (maybe from a refrigerator box?) about 1/2 smaller on all sides than the headboard, and spray-mount it to something like an inexpensive sheet (a bleached & pressed sheet from a thrifts store is fine as long as there are no stains - yuck.) Give it a day to dry and then cut the sheet to 1/2 " larger than the cardboard backing outline and wrap/glue the edges down. Now you have a backing that can be glued to cover the board & "work" on the back of the headboard, making little cut-out slots with an exacto knife for the hanging hardware. Voila, a smooth, clean backing that won't rub/scratch the wall when you lean against the headboard over a period of years.
Yesss! I love Letitia
I absolutely love this guys amazing job
omg you guys are crazy talented
This looks so soooo good !!!
Exactly what I need! Moving into new home. we don't have any furniture, but this gives me ideas! thank you!

Y'all make it look so easy!
Beautiful!
I love that denim jacket!!!
Super like it!
Omg I love this!!!! I’m totally going to make a headboard like this!
This is so freaking gorgeous!! 😍😍
KELSEYYYYYYY YOUR SHIRTTTT IS INCREDIBLE 😍😍😍😍
Ilysm and i fell u guys r the only utubers who make useful and not stupid things that end up costing more than the store bought price 💕💕💕💖💖
Love it! So cuteeee!
Beautiful!! 💗
I liked it. Congrats!!!!!
I was googling diy headboards earlier today. Now I open my YT and Kelsey and Becky FTW!! You read my mind!
Love this video!!! You can also use an electric knife (the kitchen kind) for the foam, as well, easy peasy!
Quick tip! Put painters tape on the back of the headboard where the rings are and mark where they are located. Then, pull the tape off and put in on the wall! Exact hole spacing, no measuring! Just make sure it’s even and straight
Dude. Iwas looking for headboard diys. In perfect time. Thanks
Love this you guys are so good I would properly mess up so much
That was really cute, something I was thinking of doing to my current headboard
I literally just want to cover myself in that blush velvet😍😍😍
Wow this is so good
It looks really good guys 🖒
Yay!❤️
Love This. Beyond Beautiful. 💜
i would die for a collab between y’all and LaurDIY😍😍
I love that headboard 😍😍😊
Love you guys so much!
I haven't watched it yet and I already know its great
Okay I'm obsessed now
The best of all things! You guys are the best
This might be my favorite video from you guys.. great work!!! keep it up!
It looks elegant and lovely 💖💕💜💕💞😀
this is legit so cool i wanna try it!!!
omg y'all did that !!!!! i would be so interested in seeing a version with a cover that can slip on and off for washing ( i dye my hair and i have a messy lil boy and i know a luxe headboard would not survive us both without being able to pop the cover off and wash it )
Since you said we should watch the full length of ads before/during your videos (to help you) ..... I've learned every single "Wish" ad! Hahah love you guys, your content is amazing! 🇮🇹X

I've never been this early! Love this soft headboard idea!!
Love it
Awesome!!!!
Perfect Ladies!
Two of my favorite youtubers together =) I'm making a big move soon and the room is hideous, so I'm going to have to do some TSG diys to make it pretty. Blush pink is my favorite color so I'm definitely doing this!
I'm actually working on my own headboard with my father so it's cool to see that you have made one. Mine is going to be wood though.
Love!!!!
LOVE
I really liked those little hand drawn pictures in the corners 🙂
Omg I love you sooo much❤️ I have done soo many of your diy’s. 😃
DIY ASMR for the win. 😍
Brilliant.
If you're ever working with foam in the future, my mom did some DIY ing and stumbled upon a great cutting method - she used an electric knife! Like the kind you'd use in the kitchen at thanksgiving. Thanks for the video! :)
this looks so legit
That is so cute. I think I'd make the fabric removable, instead of attached to the base, so it's easy to wash.
I LOOOOVE Kelsey's shirt in this video
