@@ana_boogie7168 Yeah, I heard if you part your hair in the same spots all the time it just naturally parts on its own because it's used to it...that's why I stopped parting my hair because I didn't want natural parts in my head...

@American Born do you just keep it curly or do you stretch it in another way? I've been natural 3 years and have not use Heat. I am now finding it difficult to trim my ends because of the curls. I transition so it was easy to trim in the beginning.
These videos inspire me to keep going, sometimes I want to give up, but i’m like nah i’m going to have long natural hair. Persistence and patience is key!

Oh so you thought you could post this video without having to do an updated hair care routine? That’s cute lol. Go ahead and film it girl

Hey. You're my hair goals. Your wash day routine is now my wash day routine. Even your stretching routine. I just had a baby 3 months ago and I'm going through the worst post partum shedding. Do you have have any tips?? My hair is 4c, it's extremely coily. I'm from South Africa. By the way, you're the most realistic person to watch, hair wise, I've copied many of your hairstyles and I've got tons of compliments. So thank you for that💕 You are greatly appreciated 💕

I went through the worst pp shedding when my son was two months. I legit lost handfuls of hair and most of my hairline. What helped for me was going by the hairdresser for a thorough detangling and cutting it. I then worked with my hair in single plaits. I wash in the plaits and detangle individually. I did this every two weeks and I used alot of castor oil on my scalp. Like every day. I also stopped wearing my hair out and only wore wigs. Now at 7 months pp I have only a normal amount of shedding. And my edges have grown back. Hope this helps.

Actually, A key for more straight/stretched hair is to let it dry stretched . Using an hair dryer is to make it dry more fast and stretch it more faster . However , Using a flat iron given it a more silky look and makes it even more straighter .

What beautiful healthy hair you have!😍 I have NEVER seen such a simple blow dry, flat iron and trim video on this platform!! 💚Love this!I understand that it was already detangled but thank you for this video! God bless!
My gosh! I watched ur journey with the hair and boy oh boy!
You are definitely hair goals. My hair is the longest it’s ever been at armpit length. I’ve found that once my hair growth becomes stagnant, it needs something or I need to make changes in my routine. Recently, I’ve started with Olaplex treatments, but it’s expensive (sold at Sophora). Sally’s has a more affordable dupe for it. Also, I know Kim is a vegan. Going to start back eating healthy and drinking more water. Thanks for the inspiration.
Kim your hair is beautiful!!! 💕❤️😍 It has grown soo much since I started watching you. Love your nail color.
It looks beautiful! Definitely inspired by your growth process--w/patience and proper maintenance hair will flourish!
I'm afraid to apply oil to my hair before heat. I feel like that's essentially, "frying" it. Am I wrong?

Most of these 'oils ' are serums. I wouldn't reccomend putting real oil prior to straightening .
@clo1935
4 жыл бұрын
It doesn't work that way. The only way to "fry" you hair would be to use as high of a heat as it takes cook the oil. With oils like coconut oil that's pretty high. If your using that high of a heat, your hair will be in trouble regardless.
@cbunny22

Seemed like she was a little worried as well. I'd just use a heat protectant serum instead to be safe.

No... you're right. I was sifting through the comments looking to see if anyone else caught that lol. Im not using anything other than a heat protectant... follow with a light oil at the end if i want extra shine
