For Brain Fungus, I have to recommend Wendigo Cave; with Backwoodsman 4 + Green Thumb you can farm the entire cave and end up with 300-400 Brain Fungus. Other than that, you showed a solid farming route in this video, so thanks for that

man, i never go to that dark ass cave on purpose like i used to anymore :D

mentat recipes (all of them, i think) can also be bought from the medical modus wing in the whitespring's bunker. When you went to the whitesprings dumpster's for brain fungus.. there is a greenish-grey metal door right behind you in the corner of the building. go in there, take the first right down the staircase into a red area, 2nd door on the left, then you'll see red terminals on your right.

yeah, gotta get a farming build and start doing magazine runs. watoga & top of the world are the easy spots for a good number of them. only hard part is getting them in numbers in your bank. :)

I can't believe I've never looked at the ceiling in the abandoned waste dump, also that starlight run you started at Anchor Farm was solid. It never fails that your farming vids show me a couple new tricks, and I've been doing this stuff since day one LOL I'm never crafting regular mentats though, I just collect them until I have about a hundred on a character and then do a berry mentat run. They pile up fast!

The deep really is the best place for Starlight Creeper. I usually farm it, then reset my item spawns. Though I am a fallout fist user. So, it's easier making my own private games.

Great video with all the info you need to craft, I make these all the time and still didn't know all your firecracker and starlight areas. It's also good to check the drug vendor bot at whitesprings, 1st store on your right. He usually has 6 berry mentants in stock. Drugs and booze collectron will also have them occasionally.

Great guide, I may just go out and craft some as I usually reserve what I find (I’ve never crafted them) for Daily Ops where you have cloaked enemies.

You should have timestamps 😭 very good video tho. Clear and straight to the point. Dk if I’ll be making berry mentats all that much but now I have the information for if I ever do. Also your voice is immaculate

Its recipe can sometimes be bought from MODUS at the medical terminal in the Whitespring bunker. Randomly bought from scavenger traders. Randomly looted from med kits, footlockers and metal boxes. Randomly dropped by high-level feral ghouls.

There’s a spot I think it’s called big maws near the retreat there is tons of brain fungus on the ground up and down the hill.

ah - my berry fam: hit the one workshop in the bog, then go to the highway, look for the broken hole section - should be 2 radroaches there, dispatch, move through the tunnel. you should get something like 20-30 brain fungus from that area alone, double with gatherer. after that, I run from the farm south of the train station to the blue ridge camp. stick to the river bed and you'll get another 15-20ish from that. that's my route for fungus, usually make berries in stacks of 100ish. berry mentats, brain bombs, cranberry relish - that's the simple endgame exp buff food to save and stack - see ya in the wastelands fam!

Arktos has LOTS of firecracker berries.

It actually is already past 9.

There is a good mod that make all of these ingredients glow on nexus mods. Extremely covenient
