You always show me cool stuff. I'm really not great but I play for my enjoyment. I can play for about 7 minutes and my fret hand becomes extremely painful from the ring finger and pinky to the wrist so I'm obviously not going to get as good as you, but you have shown me stuff that I like to mess around with, so thank you for your lessons

Here is what I tell many of my students. When you play, get close to the fret with your finger and press ONLY hard enough to get a note. Most players press down too hard on the strings, which causes pain after a while. I used to do the same thing when I was performing, and by the end of a 4 hour show, my hands were killing me! Now that I don't press down hardly at all, I can play ALL DAY LONG without any pain. Please try it.

Adding some info about the scales each exotic chord can be used safely in would be useful. E.g. for Asus13: Dmajor and its relative minor Bminor, Gmajor and its relative minor Eminor. Yep, everyone should be able to figure that out by herself, but some beginners find it difficult

I've been following off and on for several years and have learned so much from your hard work. I'm wanting to learn more Motown and Carolina Beach music and incorporate a Boss DR5 I've bought as I'm a solo musician. I've been playing for over 50 years and have owned many guitars. Could you recommend an electric for Motown and dance music running through a Bose S1 Pro, keeping it under $500? Not sure if you'll see this or get to answer.
