Ғылым және технология
Sounds simple to replace the battery, but it turned out that wasn't the case. I found an easy way to do it!

Came here after destroying my sensor as well :D thanks a lot! Saved my day.
you just saved me 3 aqara sensors 🙂
yep, really fucked mine up out of frustration hahaha. i feel a lot better knowing i'm not the only one
Awesome, thanks. I found another way to open it as well: wear a pair of these non-slippery disposable kitchen gloves. Also, use a paper towel to wipe off any fat from the surface of the sensor. This way, you can get a good grip with your thumbs and can actually manage to turn it. Worked for me.
This is brilliant. Thanks for your contribution to humanity.

Awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Life saver! Thanks!
Great idea, thanks.
Do You need to reconnect the sensor and settings all over again in the Aqara app after replacing the battery ?
THANK YOU!!! 😁
Thank you!!
great! This just worked! (and ruined the back of one too :p )
Which battery is it?
Well done and thank you.... LOL
After watching your excellently helpful video, I found another that Aqara put out a couple of years back, that essentially says the same thing, except that they say to peel back only half of the tape covering, and fold it out of the way. They don't mention anything about screwdrivers or coins. kzread.info/dash/bejne/daGXqrqjYKW6mLg.html
I really don't understand why don't you just use a coin. It's that simple. I use a 10c or 20c euro coin. But most of my aqaras are already on the wall with its sticker so i just rotate it to remove the battery.
I've got a fresh idea for your next video how about you show how to setup a stepper motor in ESPhome? Many uses for such setup yet no videos showing the Yaml code needed to make it work using ESPhome. Here are the parts needed: ULN2003 stepper motor driver 5V 28BYJ-48 stepper motor I have tried but failed miserably.
