Easy and Effective Ways to Clean Your Bird's Cage + Surroundings

Hello everyone, please excuse my appearance as its CLEANING DAY!
I let the mess pile up a bit so you guys can see the difference in cleaning. I instruct how to clean poop and food off cages, walls, doors, floor, carpet and windows. Please use 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water as your cleaning agent and you can use poop off removal spray as these are safe to use around your birds.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Most cleaning supplies are toxic to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yay-- suggest some cheap latex gloves that are well fitting. :) & an old scrub brush, cheap mask

I feed them fresh vegetable chop, fruits, and pellets. Out of curiosity.... do you find the vinegar mixture works better than poop off? I use the poop off for everything lol.

If poop off works for you then thats great! Both work really well, the advantage poop off has is that you can spray it on carpets.
When I looked in my birds cage I saw tons of fruit flys In their because that’s were his food dish is so I took the dish out but how can I prevent them from coming because he needs his food in his cage for when I leave the house

Make sure to clean the bowl and area well and that any food landing at the bottom is cleaned out. Thats whats attracting the fruit flies

@@mimisbirdhouse he drops most of it back into the bowl or climbs out the cage with the fruit and eats it outside the cage

@@syd7352 honestly i dont know what else to say aside from make sure you are cleaning the cage and surrounding daily, the vinegar should keep them away, check your fruit for any contamination or bug holes.
How often do you do this cleaning routine?

Yes regular white vinegar ☺️
I got an African grey because they are calm Me: let's grey out of the cage 5 mins later the house has been hit by a hurricane
