Easy 12V (cigarette lighter) plug install for Maxx Air Fan

Wiring this 12V plug (cigarette lighter) for my Maxx Air Fan was so simple I wish I had done it much sooner!

Your video was very helpful for me. I have two Maxx Air fans that have been installed for months, but I haven't been able to use them because I don't have my van wired with electricity, yet. I just have two Jackery power stations, that are charged with an extension cord at times. I'm intimidated with doing certain parts of my van build. But I can handle imitating what you did to get 12-volt power to the fan. I will be so much more comfortable being able to use the fans. Thanks so much for your helpful video!

Love watching your progress with the van. I think I want to find a Ford Transit connect wagon to start working on. Probably going to copy the Freebird offered by Caravan Outfitter somewhat for weekend trips to TX state parks in the cooler month, further nort during the cooler months and vacation time in the summer. I believe it will accommodate my 6' 4" self just barely. Please keep these awesom videos coming!

Oh! I put a Maxxair fan in my motorhome, but had no wiring to connect it to. A vanner friend did that to his. Now I know how. Easy peasy! Thanks!! I'd like to put a Maxxair fan in my van, but it has dual ac built into the roof. That's more important to me for my cats & dogs in travel.

@@TinyTexanAdventuresOh, the dual air is factory on the van, only to use along with the dash air. Can't be used for camping. I did order a portable ac unit that's supposed to arrive on Tuesday. I'm excited about it! It's on the smaller side compared to some that are big. It's 8500 btu. So when camping with power, I will be able to use it! I've read that anything below 8000 btu on portable ac's just won't cool well. Which I believe because I have a 5000 btu & it's bulky & doesn't do the job in my small motorhome.

So I turned it all the way up to the highest fan which on mine is a number five (which I doubt I’ll ever have it set on)but even at the highest setting, it ran at 37W, the in between obviously was from 7 to 37 on the other 4 settings.
