1.21 Edition: If you build this farm in 1.21, you will no longer get the effect from the captains, instead, when you kill the captains, they will drop a potion for you, and when you stand in front of Trident Killer, you must drink that potion to start the raid, you don't need to do anything else. And be careful because it is always possible to take damage from the Evokers in the raid farms.

You can build it anywhere you want. Just it has to be at least 200 blocks away from villages

I tested and it's working good, you just need to drink the potion in front of the farm to start the raid.
