In the summer of 2021, we headed to Eastern Finland for a motorcycle trip. This time, I drove the iconic Yamaha V-max 1200, which is practically an engine with a motorcycle built around it. Jussi and Tommi were on the trip. Emppu unfortunately couldn't make it to this trip, but represented as Ragnar. The departure was from Iitti, from where we headed to Verla's wood grinding/cardboard factory. From there, the journey continued to Kärnäkoski fortress, Ristiina to Brahe castle, the Lietvesi scenic road to Pistohiekka, Sulkava, Savonlinna, Punkaharju, Kitee, Joensuu, Lieksa, Nurmes, Koli, from where we drove to Kitee via Hietalahti to Lahti.
Kesällä 2021 moottoripyörämatkalle suunnattiin Itä-Suomeen. Tällä kertaa alla oli ikoninen Yamaha V-max 1200, joka on käytännössä moottori, jonka ympärille on rakennettu moottoripyörä. Mukana reissussa olivat Jussi ja Tommi. Emppu ei tälle reissulle valitettavasti päässyt, mutta edusti Ragnarina. Lähtö tapahtui Iitistä, josta suunnattiin Verlan puuhiomolle/pahvitehtaalle. Sieltä matka jatkui Kärnäkosken linnoitukselle, Ristiinaan Brahen linnalle, Lietveden maisematietä Pistohiekoille, Sulkavalle, Savonlinnaan, Punkaharjulle, Kiteelle, Joensuuhun, Lieksaan, Nurmekseen, Kolille, josta ajettiin Kiteen Hietalahden kautta Lahteen.
Tämä ensimmäinen osa päättyy Punkaharjulle. Jussi tekee osan 2/2.
