Livestock farmers in the Eastern Cape have received a boost from the provincial government which handed them much-needed new blood to strengthen their flocks.
This is part of an effort to improve their stocks and make them globally competitive.
The province is on a drive to ensure farmers move from subsistence to commercial farming.
