Self shame has got to be one of the most difficult things to let go of. You figure if you shame and hate yourself enough in this life for the bad things you've done or continue to do, then maybe God won't hard core punish you, like you know you deserve. I know this isn't God's intentions for us but I still believe it to be true. One other thing, I go through periods where my faith and love for God is strong, then I go through periods where I can barely feel him and question his very existence. My wishy/washy ways have got to anger him to a point where he just looks at me and confesses that I'm not the believer he is looking for. Anyone else feel that way?

On this Earth we are in spiritual battle. Evil will tell you you are no good, not good enough, etc etc so...do not listen...God will never tell you that. Yes, you will be convicted of sins, disobedience and this should guide your path but never de rail you. "Run the race, fight the good fight" the Bible says..(!Timothy 6-12)

We all go back to sin thank God Jesus is forever forgiving!

I just watched this season again and I keep rewinding this part because I am going through something untenable to me and my human thinking is so dark. I have to more than Hope but BELIEVE that He accepts me in spite of my flawed and human frailty. This helps.

I have watched The Chosen 4 times. Amazing work Dallas, crew and actors have done. I experienced this Easter in a different way. A deeper way and I believe it is because of The Chosen.

Jesus' love is salvation. The Holy Spirit said to tell you, "Do not make me (Jesus) lonely, there are many who attend church, but no one finds me wholeheartedly. There is no salvation without the Lord. Church service without the Holy Spirit is meaningless. It is for your own sake. Always be careful of pride and arrogance.
