Den was so much more likeable than Phil and the Watts were more likeable than the Mitchells...

I just can't get over how long ago the return of Dirty Den was, I'd just started 6th form college absolutely insane where those 16 years have gone (half a lifetime ago for me), remember it like yesterday!

Half a lifetime for me too. It’s amazing how the first 16 years of your life goes really slow but then the next 16 just whizzes past.

'Dirty Den' was such a great character, superbly portraied by Leslie Grantham ! And the iconic Angie, Pete, Ali, Nick ... Those were the hay days of EE ! R.I.P. Leslie ....

the shakil storyline actually benefitted a lot of young people especially because it was related to knife crime and gang violence. But yes I agree the storylines nowadays are trash, wish they would start broadcasting the old episodes.

IKR, quite unrealistic. If they had a warrant to search the premises all owners and colleagues would be watched throughout.

Nowhere near, he was too careless. meeting his dodgy mates in the cafe so den could see them. letting himself get seen on the CCTV. Phil is not as smart as he thinks.
