We thoroughly enjoy the trams in their new home in Devon, but I never got the chance to ride them in Eastbourne. This is a great view of those chances missed

My wife and i remember riding on the tram in Eastbourne. Such a shame the "Toffs" stopped it in 1969 so many people enjoyed the trams.

The trams were always a high point for me when we went to Eastbourne for the day back in the 60s, loved them.

Brilliant film! Remember riding on that when I was a kid. As you say 'Eastbourne's loss'.

A shame they had to stop at the Borough boundary. Another stretch across the shingle wouldn't have hurt anyone.

I remember it running in Eastbourne as I'm a Brightonian so lived nearby. They have done much better in Seaton, Devon which is also close to Pecorama at Beer. Eastbourne is a dreadful boring place and best avoided.
