Fucking right. This is coming from SouthSide of Chicago & former St Rita player & damn straight its about time the elite Illinois programs stepped it up, even if it means angering the soft as Charmin IHSA members(really anyone outside Chicago, St Louis area, & Springfield w/a few other schools mixed in). Kids need Spring football, kids in other states have a big advantage w/the spring practice sessions to say nothing of how it helps the development of the overall team. Igor will be rooting hard for ESL & all you old time Flyer fans know the legend, Coach Shannon, based a ton of what ESL did on what we did up at St Rita(go look it up in a Readers Digest article from around 1989 to 1991- sorry if i got year wrong). Still remeber the playoff wars St Rita&ESL had- you never have to look for a Rita or ESL team to take up a challenge- we ready

@@igorslocks That last game vs St Rita was crazy 2007...We needed 4 touchdowns to win in the 4th quarter and got them to win by a touchdown...Terry Hawthorne, who is new this year on the coaching staff at the lIllini, led the way that day in East St Louis. Great Game that led the way to our # 7 State Championship.
