East Pakistan to Bangladesh - مشرقی پاکستان سے بنگلادیش تک کا سفر

#bangladesh
In this insightful video, we delve into the historical events and underlying causes that led to the separation of Bangladesh from Pakistan. Join us as we explore the complexities surrounding this significant chapter in South Asian history.
The video begins by providing a concise overview of the formation of Pakistan in 1947, as a result of the partition of British India. We then examine the geographical and cultural differences between East Pakistan (present-day Bangladesh) and West Pakistan (present-day Pakistan), which created distinct challenges for the unified nation.
Through detailed analysis and historical accounts, we shed light on the various factors that contributed to the growing discontent and the subsequent struggle for independence in East Pakistan. These factors include economic disparities, cultural and linguistic differences, political tensions, and issues related to governance.
We highlight the pivotal role played by prominent leaders such as Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who led the Awami League and spearheaded the demand for greater autonomy and equal rights for East Pakistan. The emergence of the Bengali Language Movement and the devastating effects of the Cyclone Bhola further intensified the grievances and strengthened the resolve for self-determination.
The video also explores the series of political events, protests, and the eventual military crackdown that took place in 1971, leading to a full-scale armed conflict between Pakistan and Bangladesh's independence movement. We examine the role of neighboring India, which provided support to the Mukti Bahini (Bangladeshi freedom fighters) and played a crucial role in the ultimate victory and the birth of Bangladesh as an independent nation.
Through historical footage, maps, and expert insights, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the historical context and the complexities that surrounded the separation of Bangladesh from Pakistan. This video serves as a valuable resource for anyone interested in South Asian history, international relations, and the pursuit of self-determination.
Don't miss this captivating exploration of the events that shaped the birth of Bangladesh and their lasting impact on the region. Subscribe to our channel for more engaging historical content and join us on this informative journey.

The purpose of today's video is to enlighten the nation so that we are able to learn from our mistakes and not repeat them. Understanding correct and fact based history instead of Jingoism will be our first step towards course correction, which we badly need.

Moreover there are many Kashmiri boys and Palestinian boys, Bhutani boys come here to study medicine and MBBS. Palestinian boys also come to become a cadet or an army officer and by taking training they go to filistin(palestine). Best of luck for all of them, May Allah help them to gather the best knowledge and help their own nations

I will clear 2 points. 1. Many countries have two or more official languages. For example: Canada has 2 state languages and India has 22 official languages. 2. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was a student of political science and also studied law. So his 6-point claim is not a figment of his imagination. He made this demand knowingly for the good of the country. Interestingly, Pakistan's 18th Amendment Bill is the essence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's six points. The law that Pakistan implemented in 2010, Sheikh Mujib said the same things 50 years ago in six points

In West Bengal, India, state affairs are in Bengali, in Tamil Nadu, state affairs are in Tamil and across India, national affairs are in English. But due to the dominance of Hindi language in North India, especially in the capital Delhi, all government work is done in Hindi. So that's why Hindi is also made the national language. But your Jinnah clearly said Urdu and only Urdu will be the national language of Pakistan and no other language. But Bengalis demanded that Pakistan should have two state languages, Urdu and Bengali (the mother tongue of 56% people of a country). Now, if the government of Pakistan announces that the national language of Pakistan will be French from tomorrow, will you accept it?

Masha Allah brother, hats off to you for such unbiased facts and figures you gathered and presented in just 20 minutes, bilkul aisay jese samandar ko kuzay main band kar dia ho. I can't stop myself to share my personal journey here. My father belongs to Bangladesh so I got a chance to visit BD back in 2000. I observed that they were so hard-working, very down-to-earth, and humble people. They have a love for their mother tongue which is Bangla as they do not prefer English, they keep English at the secondary level as opposed to us where English-speaking people can be judged as highly educated. I used to have tea in the evening at the nearby hotel where a few oldmen told me that your Pakistan army did lots of unfair with us and believe me brother there are much more things they told me that I can't mention here due to feeling shame and sorry for our leaders of that time. Aur bad kismati se aaj tak kuch nahi badla yahan sab wese ka wesa hi hai. I wish my Bengali brothers many more successes because Bangladesh has suffered a lot in that time so today Allah's blessing is with them and a big lesson for us.

As a Bangladeshi it really made me wonder that you as a Pakistani, how much deep study you've done about 1971 & provided so accurate information. Jazakallah! Sometimes it's really disappointing to know how immoral Pakistan was that time as a Muslim nation, may be even now. After doing this amount of discrimination & genocide, still trying to hide truth! Worst enemy like Japan & USA,Germany become friend now just because of sincere apology & indemnity for their war crimes. Bangladesh & Pakistan could be same, but still after passing 52 years, Pakistan is shamelessly hiding truth.

When the truth hits hard it hits hard. As Book Buddy correctly said, they (Pakistan) made fun of East Pakistan now modern day Bangladesh only for it to do a U-Turn and hit them (Pakistan) back and boy did it hit them back. It is evident that during the time of East Pakistan, a significant portion of money flowed towards West Pakistan, resulting in substantial progress in that region. Unfortunately, as a consequence, we fell behind in various sectors day by day. However, after winning the war in 1971, Bangladesh emerged victorious not only in terms of military success but also in economic and social development. Conversely, Pakistan has lagged behind primarily because we were unable to retrieve the resources that were rightfully ours. It is important to note that our people possess great knowledge and are hardworking individuals. Nonetheless, I appreciate your candid video on this matter. Good luck to Pakistan.
