East Los: Anthony |

Спорт

Born and raised in East L.A., Anthony grew up in a chaotic home without definable parental role models. Raised instead by his grandfather, Anthony was just 18 when his grandpa passed away, leaving him angry and frustrated. That's when he began attending backyard shows. Today, Anthony is confident and clearly very popular. He tells us, "Your friends are the family you choose."

Nice. But if I remember this guy started / wanting to fight at some shows? He just seemed really agitated that night and like he was about to snap. So much for "love in the scene" its more "pay to get drunk at a random backyard and not care about the bands, just play something fast"

You can't deal with anger by engaging yourself in physical violence. It will make your aggression worse. What he said and what everybody says about dealing your anger with sports and joining in most pits are wrong.

00:35 Most honest and real way to explain punk rock shows to someone doesn't get it. Dude's dad was hella suspect and i can understand why he needs to let his frustrations out around friends. I been there too, homie.

These videos brought me back to the high school days. We were doing the same shit in Victorville. Stuffing 300 kids in somebody's backyard. The good times.

Radiant Dawn you should start a zine.. examples are where the scene fell off.. can't walk out on a movie.. read the review and still be a critic.. contribution to be a part of something is what brings meaning in contrast with trends and needless violence.. it's easy to judge.. true conviction changes negative to positive.. like jesus.. And Jon Joseph.. just a man.. evolving from a cromag. I'm sure he would a agree tons with what u r saying.. but he still tours and sends money to countries in famine.. it's not all bad. But we can all stand to make the world better..most less a scene of kids learning shot the hard way.. start a zine.. I'd read it.
