Also If u cant scan another page you could pick flat places from original (use lasso and pick flat places, than invert selection 'ctrl+shift+I') and use "Fill with a content" . (of course copy a layer before operation) repeat it if u need BAAM You have perfect textured page! I tried it before I wrote it and it works!

I work as an engineer and often restore old crumpled drawings. I make it easier - I use the "lightening" tool in the "light tones" mode and highlight the white sheet of the drawing. The ink color is not lost, and the folds of the drawing are "smoothed out"

Bro, I remember in my university I should've made my homework. But deadline was too damn close. So I asked my classmate to send me his homework. And by this method I've copied every single page and put it on another paper with different lighting and changed the ink from blue/green to black/red. And it worked!😂 I've received 38/40 for my homework. And did this in 6 hours. But my classmate was working on it a whole month. It was ~400 pages.

Thanks a lot for the tip. Looking good with the result. Stumbled on this video, because I was wondering how to correct a either scanned or photographed CD-Cover. In both situations, sometimes when taking a photo the angle is not perfect right on, or right down, but angle or perspective are a little off. Can also happens a scanner a doing weird things like that. So eg. the button of CD-cover is normal length in width. But the top of the CD-Cover are a little shorter. I think I have used perspective tool to correct that before. But think I were wondering about, if newer Photoshop versions like 2022, could do that automatically now?

I have some documents with small coffee stains on them. I find that scanning in black and white mode ignores the stains and the papers are scanned as if there was no stain at all. The scanners they use at a bank for checks may work the same way. Ever look online at images of your checks? You might notice the background is not in their scanned copies. Of course checks are usually designed in such a way that the background is light enough to filter out. This is also a key reason why a lot of forms and other things should be done in black or blue ink. Obviously black is preferred. I like those gel ink pens that hardly seem to need any pressure to make a mark on paper since they usually also have good black ink in them. You can get other colors but I like the black ones simply because they write nicely and effortlessly. I just have to remember not to brush my hand over it but let it dry and that does not take long. It is also a lot more likely to scan well if I ever have a need to do that for any reason.
