I’ve always used the silos to store loose and used hat and a fast finger to make the mix in the mixer boul

I discovered this video a day late. Yesterday I switched my cows over to the Robo-Barn, just because of the hassle of having to use an 18K trailer to be able to squeeze beneath that down spout. The good news is that I still have TMR maker on my farm, and it's chock full of raw materials and TMR. I'll set up that Meridian conveyer as you showed, and empty the heck out of it. I found a buy point mod that buys TMR and other things. So thanks for the helpful video. 😉

I agree, the only problem is the space to get the TMR. I changed the values in the XML too

That red mixer is easy. 2 small round hay, 2 small round silage, 1 straw.

Very justified rant, I have to agree. Giants seem to have confused us. Volume in litres; if it looks the same shape and size etc. Whereas variations in bulk-density and hence mass per volume... absolutely varies between materials. All that said; I really want to use a mixer, I have only used to 'robot' cow pasture when it arrives with a mod-map. I hope the volume anomalies don't actually drive us all insane, Keep it Mr Driver53 I like how you present your opinions.

Also make sure you manage and activate it to make the tmr on the rear of the tmr mixer building.

When I park the same Meridian Auger that you used in this video I don’t get the option to Start Filling. It works on my smaller truck but not on the Meridian. Any advice?

I will say I use loose hay grass straw. Great you shown the factorys as well. I have been using them as they come out. I do say they run slow.

I have my own mix. 2 telehender buckets 5k silage. So 10k silage and 1 bucket straw and hay. I store everything loose. Especially straw bales. I cannot give straw bale to cows only loose. Plus less equipment required. Plus a funny thing, I use the t bucket on my john deere 6r lol. I had to put a mod weight 4.t on the back. And heaviest tires. With an adapter for frontloader its possible to use it. Instead of a 2 3k bucket. Its especially useful for silage when I collect it in a trailer.

For me it depends on the size of your herd. There's others out there that hold up to 1.000.000L of straw, silage and hay each. Sure you lose some product on those but i take that over smaller capacity since i'd have to storage hay, silage and straw elsewhere over winter when i'm not mowing grass or harvesting grains. With those bigger ones i just put all the materials in there over harvest season and all i have to do through winter is just take out some TMR and put it in the barn every 1,2 or 3 months depending on the food capacity.

So I just purchased the TMR Mixing Station and I found a “good glitch” I loaded it all up and now it’s processing TMR forever and I’m not losing any sileage,Hay, or Straw or Mineral but my amount keeps growing.

Honestly this thing is fantastic and easy to use, great for learning cattle farmers.

This I would say is the cheapest easy way obviously the robot cow shed is easy but obviously a major chunk of money to buy. I been using a mod that sells TMR in bags and just filling up the mixer with them. This will save me some cash.

Got to get this, I'm sick to death tired of filling those mixer trucks takes forever . Thanks for posting this, now just to find that TMR factory/station .

Could you run the auger to one of the TMR multifruit storages like OmaTanas? Instant storage?

Much easier, OmaTana mods. Especially the "Farm Production" mod that can make everything you need, including TMR without 3 different recipes (2 of which don't require Mineral), and also includes a 10M capacity multifruit silo.

I got this mod on console and works great if I buy the bales but when I make my own it won’t work. The silage and grass both aren’t working off the field.

Does that mean I can have a trailer load of just hay bales and just put them in where they bay goes and do the same with straw, and it makes itself from the products Or do I have to make the tmr itself by the bales and it does it that way

You put the straw, hay, silage, and mineral feed into the building using the triggers. Then turn it on and let the magic happen.

Where can I find the data you had on the animals? (How did you figure out how many cows you could feed per month?) I am curious as I am trying to calculate a sort of yield/ha for the different animal products. I want to see if I feed my chickens for example with barley which has a yield of 19,200 L/ha how many eggs will I get per ha of barley I feed them? You mentioned the age of the animals affects food use, does it also affect how much product you get? (Does it only affect the speed of production/consumption or also yield?)

There are but you lose quite a bit of product in the recipe.

They fix the baler problem? When you make for exemple grass bale, and if the baler is not full, you cannot get out the bale.

I believe this is still a thing. Haven't been able to unload patrial bales myself.

Downloaded Mod for this.. Can't get the "Start Filling" to work!

Just wish there was a way to expand how much TMR it can hold. Im on console and cant change the XML

It goes at the end of the building and not with the other items.

There is another TMR auto mixer can't remember name right now but it's bigger than this one and I think just as easy

There are a few mixers and productions that have released since this video that are honestly better. Guess it's time to do an update video.

Where is this station, I am on PC< I do not have it.

Just to let you know, you only need silage and hay to make tmr, not sure why, but the game accepts it. Makes it super easy 👍

Using straw makes it cheaper

Get the buy anything silo and use it for tmr it's so cheap to do it that way then you don't need a mixer or anything or balling equipment, I find when you first start it's a great way to feed cows and give them straw until you build up and buy all the equipment

I use one for fertilizer and lime. But I feel like for food would be like cheating and Id prefer to roleplay that part. You dont really need tmr for first 9 months. But you can get hay easily.

Console has a bale limit?

You can put loose product into the unload area.

An easier way you ask? The easiest way to make TMR is to let a robot do it with the cowbarn with feedingrobot of course. No easier way to feed your cows. Unless you want to make TMR for selling but then you will want to see if that makes more money then selling grass, hay and silage sepratly and you'l need to infest in a TMR selling point to.

Actually, the smallest mixer takes one hay + silage round bale from the store and then you just top it off with straw before you add some minerals. You will need to run it twice, but it mixes quite easily!

There’s no way to set it to distribute product?

You can only distribute to places that accept TMR, so I think you can't as of right now

easiest, hay and silage, done. If you then put it in a silo, when you take it out in a mixer it will show it having straw and mineral additive.... minerals are just for show make no difference, been tested and proven.

The esiest way is to buy TMR from a Multifruit Filling station. 🤷🏼‍♂️
