Same! My crease goes all the way down past my lower lash line. I’ve yet to find a video where someone has this eye shape.

Just give it up and concentrate on inner part. That's what I did. And lids will get more hooded as you age.

Okay, how do you get the pigment of the felt tip to color directly from the tip? I keep having an issue where the tip becomes dry, I end up having to use the base to color my liner, drag the tip through it, and THEN I can use the tip again.

I honestly had no idea that I had hooded eyes until I started having trouble with liquid eyeliner.

Don't think there's a solution for us lol...I have the runniest eyes I've ever seen anyone have it's like I'm constantly crying! I have actually just given up on the eye makeup lark....it's way too much hassle and it's futile because whatever you put on your eyes, within about 10 seconds it's wet and smudgy, pasty and patchy and mis-shapen and that's just the shadow nevermind liner and mascara...I am not thrilled about it either because I love makeup and I miss putting it on and the enjoyment I used to get from it.

Thank you for this very helpful and positive (lifesaving info) for us hoody gals. I have really liked every product I have had the opportunity to try by Hard Candy. Recently I found a deeply discounted brand Ive never trird before (after Christmas at Marshall's ) I t is waterproof gel eye pencil by UOMA . It's The best! it goes on smudge-able for a little while and then it's sets up and you can't smear it after about 20 seconds. you can build on it & yet it goes on smooth enough for older ladies delicate eye skin. I think it's better than ELF, which for it's price, is the best and longest lasting I've tried

I struggle so much with the eyelid part its either to far away or its crooked 😭

I wish I could do this but I'm terrible at lining me eyes and making cat eyes 🥴 I end up looking like a clown, and have to remove my makeup, but yours came out so beautifully!

If only I saw this 28 years years ago before my hooded eyes dropped so that my hoods have hoods lol. I have YET to find a way to put on winged eyeliner that "glides" across a dropped hood. Felt tips skip if you try to do it lightly and drag if you put pressure. I blink immediately when I touch my lashes, so inevitably my left side inner corner looks awful but my hood drop is far less, so the wing looks decent. My right eye the inner eye looks decent and the wing looks like hell because the hood basically drops to the dayum floor. 🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ugh, I hate having hooded eyes. And mine have gotten even worse as I get older. I'm really good at doing Makeup. But I have so much trouble with basic eye makeup on myself bc of my damn eyes. It also takes me much longer than normal just to do my eyeliner. Oh, what I wouldn't give to just have normal, easy to maneuver, big eyes with flat Brow space.

These are not hooded eye's. Hooded eye's the crease or fold goes all the way to the eyelashes. example Aka " Chinese eye's"

My creases go past my lash lines, even though the hood doesn't touch my lashes. It's a real pain to work with.

@mawcha no idea. You needed tips? You don't have extremely hooded lids? Can't say why this helped you. But for the socials I shared this on, it helped none of us with hooded lids. I took it down & don't recommend it anymore as it didn't help me either.

But it looks crazy when you look down :(
