You're right on. It amazes me how many ignorant people will go out buy a 5-$600 DJI for their very first drone with no experience whatsoever.. Then crash/destroy it the next day 🤦‍♂️ Cheap toy drones are definitely the way to go for learning 👌

i did buy two extra batteries at 10 pounds each but they do come complete with their own charger 👍👍

Hey James, love the video's. I bought my Grandson this little drone for XMas. But I can't find extra batteries for it it. Any idea's where i might find some. Is there a generic version battery, HS website doesn't even have this drone listed. Thanks again for your informative videos .

Yes, they do sell them on amazon, but usually after 10 minutes people are tires of a mini drone, thats the reason for only sending 1 to keep the price down, it’s an amazing value……..and they dont pay me to say that, lol

hiya james ive got a question. Ive got the 210F and i love it but i would like a 210 i notice on amazon there are two types one with a four blade prop and also one slightly cheaper with a three blade prop which would you recomend ??

I've bought a couple of these small fun drones advertised by other youtubers and been very disappointed with them. They make them look fun and easy to fly. This one initially looks like another one , but i am sorely tempted LOL.. Especially as its made by HS. Great informative video as usual. Thanks Rob

Thank you James very informative… Just another note that when you crash say behind the couch or in the basement, make sure the propellers are free of dust and hair as it will drastically affect the way it flies… A pair of tweezers does the trick… Happy flying

Have disappointedly had a 100 percent failure rate with these H.S mini drones. Initially purchased the HS 210 model, it would not even power up right out of the box - with either of its 2 batteries. Holy Stone sent me the 210sf model, this one will only fly at the high speed rate regardless of what setting is selected on the remote. The third and last drone sent to me(also a 210sf) flies fine but only does so for 90 seconds before the low battery lights start flashing and the drone is out of power. So, three seperate H.S mini drones in a row have had major problems, you can't do any worse than a 100 percent failure rate. Not even going to deal with trying to get a fourth one, its time to just cut my losses and move on. Very Very frustrating to say the least!

sounds like you might be buying from a dodgy seller selling refurbished or customer returns or faulty drones

Hello James, excellent videos, I have two holy Stone drones. The first one is the 420 with the video camera. The second one is a 210 F when I receive the 420 drone I set it all up with my iPhone and flew it indoors and outdoors with great success and enjoyed it immensely and then it was like nothing changed except one day while flying it I lost control and ever since then. Setting it up and binding and setting the Gyro it just like it had a mind of its own. It just takes off in whatever direction it will not hover anyway. And I have the same problem with the 210 F I’ve only had it for a week the first few days it flew excellent and I started playing with adjustments has to the instructions and now when I buy into it, set the Gyro and go to auto left it just takes off and goes wherever it wants to. Anyway, I guess what I’m asking is is there some sort of reset or am I doing something wrong? I have cleaned the propellers changed batteries tried everything hoping you can give me some assistance, Same story with the 210 F I’ve had it for about a week the first couple of days it’s too great and now when I find it set the Gyro and press left off it just takes off in whatever direction it feels like going and crashing into the wall or whatever again any assistance you can give me would be greatly appreciated

25 days with my mini 4 pro and most of the skill I've gained this last month came from flying these toys in my house when I can't fly my DJI outside. Don't buy the 420 with the camera. The cameras are novelty features, and low quality and they get worse battery life even if you don't connect your phone.

Great question, Holy Stone has never made a drone with a 3 axis gimbal till now, the 720R which is about to be released, I have had it for a month and will release the video the day it goes up for sale, thanks for wathcing

Yoooo!! Potensic ATOM!! I just got it and I'll say besides obstacle avoidance it's a DJI killer, 299 1 battery, 399 3 batteries charging hub and case.
