This is a great on the go knot. Thanks for sharing.

We have been using that knot since 2005. It’s one if the strongest. We tie it with a few more precautions tho. We have a name for it. I’ll post our video on it too

@@CoastfishTV Just happen to be in front of the PC when you popped up Mate. Bloody good knot and as I use braid and mono regularly I will be using this one.

I've had anything from the reverse Albright to the Yucatan and a couple of others.

A good knot, but only if you are dropping your weight overboard from a boat, try casting it under pressure of a long cast and it won’t go anywhere of it will rip your top runner out

Agreed. It is an ideal knot to use for boat fishing, especially when trolling and bottom bashing. For those who struggle with the FG Knot you can also shorten your leader to avoid winding the knot through your rod runners when casting (Like most braid to fluoro knots), which is also successful.
