But DeSantas doesn't want any outside help, his words when asked why they weren't allowing any other rescue teams, his answer was "we already have the best in the world here" (speaking of Florida-based rescue teams). Dead bodies more like it, but everything has to have no truth in it these days, before being presented to the public for approval. A heroic person had to make herself seem like a wolf.

Matt Kustom Kostumes- Don't put so much store in building codes. There are homes hundreds of years old, and modern homes are made with OSB! How many years will it last? Think of the off gassing! Yikes!

  • @mattkaustickomments

LaughingblueSu I know all about codes and construction- I used to be a Forensic Architecture Technician. It was kind of like CSI for buildings, usually involving cases where moisture was penetrating into the building and causing mold & rot. Btw, OSB is actually quite strong pound for pound...Commercial codes are a whole other ballpark than residential codes, and are extremely important for public safety. We used to check buildings for compliance with fire codes mainly. We found some real firetraps along the way. We also checked things like stairway/steps code compliance, especially if we were involved on a trip & fall case. Trust me, crappy construction kills.
