Great movie, a good 90 or so minutes of entertainment. Also not swamped with ads, so had good continuity too. Recommended.

Started wrong. If we have a near miss with a rogue planet, no one would be alive to tell the story. Depending on the size of the rogue planet, it doesn't even need to be close to Earth to cause death to everyone. It most certainly would cause an E.L.E. Extinction Level Event.

So, “near miss with rogue planet…the end” would make for a very short film, and a really sh!t storyline? Who’da thunk it?

FYI, if there's an event that suddenly knocks the Earth out of it's regular orbit, it would assume a new one, different, and yet a new orbit, more elliptic probably. If an event knocks the Earth to escape velocity, everyone would already be dead, since that means a sudden velocity increase of 600-ish kms. At that speed everyone standing on the side of the acceleration vector of Earth would turn instant soup, anyone on the side of Earth, would fall sideway crashing into stuff and reaching space in like 2 seconds, and the one on the opposite side would feel the exhilaration of true flight for roughly 0.2 seconds before suffocating in space.. Trust me, if there's an event which you can talk about after, it's not as bad as most people think. It's the ones that you can't live to talk about that are the problem. Also, if whatever force appied on Earth would also be appplied on the people thereon, we'd be able to talk about it, despite escape velocity making it either very hot real soon, if the vector of escape passes near the Sun, followed by rapid cooling, if not impacting the Sun, in which case it would end still, or very cold when the escape vector leads directly away from the Sun, in which case freezerburn is on the menu. These would include gravimetric incidents such as sudden blackholes or other extreme gravity sources, like artificial graviton emitters going haywire, or used as a stellar combat device.

Escape run survival in this movie is great

The world is collapsing but all they do is searching for saving their children. The world is left alone. It seems it is not the world but only their family and a few people in disaster. Absurd ?

@@leoonyot2208 if "4" is the question this why. Please excuse my English and i almost forgot this movie. Asteroid belt is between Mars and Jupiter. It need at least months for Earth to get there. Even then it's greater chance for Earth to freeze then to be hit by them. Earth is tilted but somehow nobody on northern hemisphere is not realising thay don't have night last 2 weeks. Also that massive nuclear explosion wouldn't move earth a single milimetar.

Disaster movies like this must get their science advisors from the local kindergarten. Making already low-budget cheesy movies like this even far more implausible is not a good tactic and was only appealing in the earliest sci-fi B-movies. This film should have been called "1.5 hours of bad disaster movie tropes".

Not everyone will believe this scenario.The movie isn't based off really life events that may may or may not happen in the future.Therefore it is only for entertainment.

A great film to take your mind off the shit world we live in now. Watch and enjoy.

I gave up after 20 minutes. Sorry to say I did not enjoy it. The writers started out with an interesting and original premise, to do with a rogue planet coming into the Solar System, but then completely ignored that premise and reverted to the cliché of a meteor storm. They showed no interest whatsoever in what the actual consequences would be, or in the fact that such a disaster would be predictable years if not decades in advance. They were only interested in putting their characters through the routine stresses of any disaster movie.

I hope that there's alive chat, while the movie is playing, so other can comment..Thanks 🙏
