If you didn't grow up in the time this song came out. I don't think you can understand or know the impact this did for our generation. All of what we endured.

I saw and interview with Maurice and Philip and the secret to their harmony and vocals was that ONLY those two were singing on ALL the albums, so the interviewer ask them well. What do you do when you perform live and Maurice laughed and Philip said “we practice over and over and over and over.”!!!

❤ I agree with you, I never missed a show when they came to New York especially at the New York Coliseum,! As soon as you heard Maurice‘s voice you knew it was EWF. Just like when you hear the Isley brothers in here Ronald Isley you knew it was the Isley brothers. Certain guys just had their voice!

I just posted above my concern too of WHY don't we have anymore Earth Wind & Fires or Ohio Players types like we had back when I was 17. Our kids are listening to pure negative HATE today, and it really breaks my heart. We may have had problems in the 70s but we also had LOVE that evolved from music like this. I can dig it it for sure! I hate using the cliche “I’m white” which I am, but music to me has no color! EWF is one of my all time favorites along with Maurice’s awesome voice they make my troubles and cares disappear ! RIP Maurice you made the world a better place..peace

I’m 66 years old, I’ve grown up with their magic, and pray the younger generation will truly listen to the messages this band continues to share with the world. There are no words to describe the brilliance of this band, and the next generation ...May Philip Bailey, Jr., David W... and the rest do justice to Maurice White’s messages through music. If you haven’t experienced the wonder of seeing EWF LIVE, you need to add it to bucket list. Thank you, Philip, the Voice, Verdine, the energizer bunny, who continues to show nothing but joy onstage, and Ralph Johnson, Slick...thank all of you for taking this gift to the world, because the world will always need the messages through your music. In July 2019, I saw EWF in concert at Art Park in Lewiston, NY, and told my daughter I would probably never have the chance to see EWF again, so when she bought tickets to see them in Verona, I was stunned. To witness their performance twice in a matter of months, was like a miracle to me. I thank God for the gift of EWF in my life for almost 50 years. I pray your music continues to touch the world. My concern today is why don't we have anymore Earth Wind & Fires or Ohio Players type music? Maybe there would be more love vs hate going on in the world. I am almost in tears----my hi-school and college years in 1970s-------wish I could go back for five minutes !!! ---------no music like this anymore-------and I miss my friends and family no longer here----but I know we will see each other again-------------------friend told me this type of music is a time machine-----takes us back to those great days when we listen to these fantastic songs-----------------

All I have to say about this whole entire album is... That it is an incredible Masterpiece Gem. When I think back about the year 1975, the first picture which pops into my mind, is the album. "That's The Way Of The World" Released on March 15th, 1975 I believe.... This Masterpiece of an album has a little bit of everything. A little bit of Jazz, a little flavor of Rythm & Blues, a Brass section like no other with Maurice White, & Phillip Bailey up front, & a kickass Rhythm section, indeed they also Rocked... Their works speaks volumes as to their legacy. To my brothers & sisters who know this group inside out, well... what can we say which hasn't been already said......however, If you've never heard or seen this group before, I suggest you start with this album!... "Earth, Wind, & Fire : That's The Way Of The World"..... This is totally Fantabulous. Earth, Wind, & Fire @ their Greatest..... Thank you Earth, Wind, & Fire for the wonderful gift of your music to the world, & may you resr in eternal peace Maurice White. ❤

There will never, ever be any band like EWF., Maurice White was brilliant, their music brought people together

When you consider who represented perfection in contemporary music, EW&F were certainly among the few bands you could call perfect, especially in the mid-late 70's, when they ruled the world.

This is the song that made me fall in love with Maurice White❤️💋

I was a small child about 5 or 6 singing this song all of their songs actually. They always made me feel good about myself and I never even really understood the words but I knew they meant something. Now I’m woke and I see why my spirit always felt alive while listening to their music. Rest with the ancestors Maurice. You made your mark on humanity.
