For a guy who plays and uses Comps a lot would platinum not be the goal for you. The lounges have free food and drink in aria and bellagio that I know of. Could save a lot over the year

I happened to get Platinum one year. The lounges are nice. But Aria's lounge is only for Platinum guests with a hotel reservation. MGM's food is a nice touch, but not like the old Diamond Lounges where food was a focus. The resort fees waived matters a lot. But I wouldn't go out of my way to make sure I have lounge access.

Thanks for making this video. I guess il start at mgm and reach pearl there. Then chose a different location for gold. I was trying to compare different poker rooms on KZread, and it seems like aria has the best and most modern atmosphere. But i could be wrong. Whats your favorite place to play on the strip?

Those people are the phone were likely wrong. If you play 75 at MGM and get Pearl, then go to Aria, you need 150 at Aria for Gold. Aria's definitely the most modern room of the MGM rooms.

Does Caesars match you to Diamond if you earn. mGM gold? Does MGM match you to gold if you earn Caesars Diamond?

No. When you earn a status, you are that status for the remainder of the calendar year and the following calendar year. But the card they give you will have an expiration date in the following January. (If you earned status in September 2023, the card's expiration date will be 1/31/2024.) In January, go to the rewards desk and ask for a new card, the new card will have the accurate expiration date.

So nomad pearl is the free parking for aria? My question is if its 75 hours and i accomplish that in like 3 weeks would i get the free parking right away and then to.keep the free parking is it 75 hours you have to play each month. Thanks.so.much hope you see this

75 Aria hours gets you Pearl. The Pearl status would be good for all MGM properties. The status is good for the remainder of that calendar year and the following calendar year. Earn it today and you're good through 1/31/2026 I believe.

My guess is it’s cumulative, the same way you earn points for status.

The status is good for the remainder of the calendar year in which you earn that status plus the following calendar year. Every January 1, your points reset and you need to earn again. If you earned Gold in October 2023, you are Gold through the end of 2024. But on 1/1/2024, your points reset to 0 and you need to earn Gold again to be gold in 2025.

What if you already have pearl status? To get gold do you still have to do 150 hours or would it be 75 to go from pearl to gold?

If you earned Pearl last year, you're Pearl through the end of 2024. But now that it's January 1 your points reset. If you want to be Gold in 2024, you need to play 150 hours in one of those rooms. Then you'll be Gold for the remainder of 2024 and all of 2025. If you earn Pearl this year, in March 2024 for example, for playing 75 hours in Aria for example, they'll print you a Pearl card. Then nothing resets until 1/1/2025. So you have Pearl and have the remainder of 2024 to play another 75 hours in Aria to get 150 total in Aria and get Gold.

Platinum isn't much additionally. Lounge access, which I use to be cool, but isn't much of a perk if you don't have a room.

@@user-kh3gl4cj4x Platinum with tier credits, yes. Poker platinum was platinum with 0 tier credits, so those perks didn't come to us.
