I am a Tech Lead in Machine Learning, here's the true insights. 1. Data Cleaning is the truth. You have to do the hard work. 2. Insights and pattern recognition is important before even thinking about machine learning. Statistics pure dil se ana chahiye. 3. Fir ata hai machine learning....yaha tak ate ate G fatt jati hai...fir random forest lagao aur khush raho. Mazak hai...insights ke bad...you need to create a hypothesis set of potential ML algorithm. 4. PPT/Dashboard banao Ab kya? Repeat 1-4 until your client is happy.

Problem ye hai ki har koi ek course karke aa raha hai...aur bilkul garbage knowledge le kar aa rahe hai...recently maine ek bande ka interview liya aur puch bhaiya what are the three measures of central tendency? He didn't know Mean, Median and Mode ab mai kaise hire karu team ke liye. Bohot mushkil hai. Who ever reads this - Bhai mere, DS me isliye mat aao ki Machine learning karne ko milega....nahi milega....ML models automate ho rahe hai...Data centric hote ja rha hai and soon these ML model will come as part of a standalone application...(kuch log to bolte hai MS Excel me aa jayega but pehle MS Excel 1M se zyada rows to show karke bataye ):P Ab data science me ane se koi failda nahi hai unless you are keen to do Business Analytics and do dashboarding. Models to nahi banaoge. Do this instead - Become a full stack, zyada khush rahoge and "Future Proof" rahoge, tech stack change karte rehna based on market requirements. Soft skills and transferable skills are utmost importance. Maths karo, communication acha karo (Verbal and Written) and please please projects banao. Izzat rahegi.

This is the most in detail video on this topic. I am a data scientist and I approve this analysis. Although 99 percent of the work can be taken cared by using python and its libraries including data cleaning visualization and all. But having SQL knowledge can be of great help if you are tasked to get the data by yourself.

See. You are a fresher like me... Don't go for data scientist as a fresher ..if u want to do data science course then u must have some master degree like MCA, ME, MTech. It will give you a great pakage .. otherwise nobody asks fresher for a data scientist role... yes u can go for data analytics course,it will take some skills like pyrhon , excel, powerbi , tabluae, python, vba coding, story telling , communication skills, presenting skills and last statistics. Do an internship from wherever you want . Then apply to entry level data analytics jobs . Thank you
