We all have the right to have our home decorated as we like and anyone else's opinion really doesn't matter. We're all different individuals. I couldn't agree with you more, Amber. Your house, your decorating style. All I can say is, you sure have a lot of energy! I used to start every room by stripping everything down and starting over. I'm 75 now and just had a total knee replacement last month. I'm lucky to get anything done for the moment. Your bedroom looks so nice with the lighter objects in it.

Amber I was so glad to see a video from you today. You and your family have been on my mind hoping and praying you aren't anywhere near or downwind of the horrible train derailment. You are safe? Now to the video. Good for you for decorating the way that makes you happy and for nicely telling the downer crowd to back off. 👍 Where did you get your book boxes, the 3 sweet vases, and the planter the greenery is in?Love all of them. I think the room looks perfect for an evening retreat when you are ready to relax. The wedding pictures are lovely. Exactly why I show things from all angles. 90% of my home is thrifted. This room however is not. I did splurge in here, and by splurge I mean dollar general, target dollar spot….nothing was over $10. I love shopping my home and that exactly what I did here. Nothing was purchased new it was what I already had. Also I don’t judge if someone else buys all new or expensive things….it’s their home, their choice on what they spend. People like different things….what a boring world it would be if all creators showed the same thing.
