I've been into the raves scene for 26 years on and off and this is by far one of the best sets mixed I'm sure. Sitting in prison at 21 getting told by a know it all ltp "long term prisoner" that I'll grow out of the rave scene after telling him I had about 3000 original tapes and I'll always listen to it, "mate you'll grow out of out" 🤔 😁😎😁😎😁 he said!!! "oh how that mug was wrong" "They said that hard-core will die, hard-core will never die" MC Robbie Dee. 😁😎😃😉

You can't make people like this music just like any music, this is a fine blend which is not played on the main stream airwaves, it's for those who choose to look for it. This music is most often found under ground away from the everyday hustle and bustle, - it's better that way.

WOW takes me right back, shellys , bowlers , quadi park , thunderdome ,going Blackburn for the warehouse parties in 89 and it shows how important the music was cause you can trace most of the tunes these days can be traced back to those days there still remixing those old tunes , when little fellas were little fellas ;-) ;-)

Same! I was too young and far from any metropolitan areas growing up to attend any raves/concerts/parties with this music, but I definitely went through multiple sets of speakers blasting it at 11!

Original wolves man as everyone in the old rave scene knows we were at most of all the top fight places in those days pilled up to the max rave on and don’t bother trying to explain it to people just be glad you were there love 🥰

Reminds me of Acid, Strawberry Fields, Black Micro dots, Purple Ohms and White Lightenings. This was before I had access to pills. Still, I was only 15 :D. Can remember going to the woods with about 50 school mates, having a fire and taking acid, wow what times man. Can remember going into school and feeling, very hazy after one particular weekend. Great times though.. Lost of friends, family members have passed since this, but world is a different place now. 1:59:30 - brings a tear to my eye, what a tune that was...

The tune dropped at 47.00 is one of my favourite tunes of all time. Tronik house uptempo from 1992. It's a dirty moody banger that still kicks hard

Brilliant mix, my fave era of hardcore/rave, '90/'91 before it starting getting too fast in '92! Most of my fave tunes too, maybe a few missing I would have dropped in, Total Confusion, Dominator, The Gonzo, SL2 The Noise. Still quality selection though! 👌👊✌

@nevmun - what's the track at 1:10:29 ? The "fun and games" voice sample? Thought it might be a remix of either Bump - I'm Rushin' or Off-Shore - I Can't Take The Power as they're listed on the vid around then but I can't seem to find any version of these tracks with that sample or melody. Would really make my day if you could shed some light on this for me. These mixes are great, I always keep coming back for more :)
