I watch Misha’s videos to fall asleep almost daily.

You got me hooked. Now I've got to watch it all. I recall Ian (forgotten weapons) was talking about the experiences of the Winter War being a huge spur for the Russians liking the submachinegun, too.

Sorry, I don't own a Margolin. I collect mostly military type guns. I don't have any target .22s. In fact, the only .22 LR I own is the Israeli pilot's AR7. Also have a .22 Short revolver from NAA that was a birthday gift.

Thank you for watching. Tito was really the only Communist dictator that wasn't setup by Stalin after WWII. He obtained his power mostly on his own, thus Yugoslavia was always a bit apart and a bit more independent compared with other Soviet client states. In a lot of ways, it just did its own thing.

Question for you. I am a braille transcriber who is also an AK collector. I have a VI student who always wanted to fire a real AK. Any advice? I would like to show him the weapon one day. Also, in your opinion, is the AK 74 superior over the AK 47?

Adam It was probably just part of the original design, the change in the AKM stock was to reduce recoil.

I believe Jimmy Streetman from Global Trades from Texas imported screw in receivers in the late 1990s not many a couple hundred before he brought in the new style Bulgarian receivers he also brought in milled 5.56 receivers he turned into milled 5.56 AKs with 74 fsb and compensator. Jimmy and a guy known as Finnbear who was a legend at impoting Russian goods Estonian AK laminate sets and 74 sets and all types of mags you couldn't get back then he was a great guy a shame he passed away he was a good friend I still miss his talks great guy.

I believe Gordon tech was the company that had assembled those guns back then they were the early milled kit guns assembled for Global trades I loved their 3x page photo copy blue paper catalog printed on both side of the paper all types of goodies on that catalog.

Man I like that Russian AK! The furniture looks awesome, my favorite color. It looks so bad ass! Iron sights and a sling, period. One of the most beautiful AKs I've seen. You are a walking encyclopedia when it comes to AK's head and shoulders above most of the videos I've seen posted on You Tube. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
