Tyhrenesha Jones Yes, he is so very old!! He must be repulsive to all three of his 'wives'? I don't see how his wealth alone can buy girl-child slaves .. Perhaps these girls' parents would prefer to secure their daughters' futures financially? They're all very beautiful girls, too .. surely the old man would value them far above any other girls, but this child is only there to bear his children and the only way this is going to happen is by rape, because she is not going to couple with him willingly..she's just a child herself, and should be just playing and learning. Child marriage in any culture MAKES ME SICK!! I wish I could rescue every one of them : (

J. Whiteoak I woke with girls in the same community in which the film is set. Only 5% of the girls are in school. It is very sad most of the are grandmother's at the age of 25. I work with girls already in school to advocate for other girls to be sent to school
