I don't know about The Philippines, but here in Italy emergency vehicles personnel are not mandated to wear seat belts, the idea being that if they end up fumbling with the belts or other equipment while trying to wear them, they may lose valuable time in an emergency. I follow another Firefighting account called "Brandweer Lunteren", from The Netherlands, and I saw they often not wear seat belts while driving to an incident scene as well, so maybe this is a thing all over the world.

That is Japanese, this truck was retired truck from Japanese fire department, because there is still bronze logo of Japanese fire dept on front hood

Mostly the drivers are mostly their fire chief, they dont go much in the fire scene, because they do the work on their trucks guarding it, watching the pressure and other work like conducting a relay supply.

Fire in the Philippines spread really fast, because buildings are crowded together in the cities, some are made out of wood, and there are so many wires. So speed is essential there.

It is also the reason why a traffic enforcer at an intersection will prioritize fire trucks. It doesn't matter if you're an official from another country, like a President, ambassador, diplomat, etc. Even if your escort is on high alert, it doesn't really change anything.

Some fire trucks here in the philippines are using Osaka Siren or Patlite. There's a lot of sellers of that sirens

Are they actually going there with bare foot, t-shirt and nothing else to take out the fire? And how many people die during fire respondings in one year there? And why don't you have seatbelts?

Mostly the drivers are mostly their fire chief, they dont go much in the fire scene, because they do the work on their trucks guarding it, watching the pressure and other work like conducting a relay supply.

Fire in the Philippines spread really fast, because buildings are crowded together in the cities, some are made out of wood, and there are so many wires. So speed is essential there.
