Hatley is beautiful!

I love Sidney. I like it because it is kind of funky and quaint .No cruise ships, not a lot of tourists and very friendly people I usually go up on the bus during the week when it is quieter and look in Tanners Book store and then make the rounds of the thrift shops. I usually walk down by the water and sit and watch the boats out in the ocean or just people watch while sitting in one of those big Adirondack chairs. Then I walk back to Thai Corner and have Pad Tai. Lovely people and the food is delicious. Then I get the 72 bus back home to James Bay. The scenery is beautiful along Lockside Drive. I always feel like i have been on a mini vacation.

Aw, this sounds like a lovely day, Janice! It’s definitely a quaint little place with great bookstores and thrift shops. So handy you can get the bus, too :)
