I’m so glad I found this Turkish series which was just by chance. Can and Demet truly portrayed their characters so well. The way Can looked at Demet you could really believe he was in love with her for real. I’ve never seen an actor that showed love in his eyes the way he did. Well done to all the cast too.

This was the most adorable Turkish series I’ve ever seen. Everyone was so amazing. Love the ending, would’ve love to see Emre and Layla’s kids too. Really appreciate the subtitles. I’ve introduced a lot people to watch it and so far they are loving it. I’m gonna rewatch this series over again. Can and Demet chemistry is superb 🙏🏾❤❤🇯🇲

In episode 64 Can compared himself to a ship lost at sea, however, he said that the first time he kissed Sanem that changed. In episode 138 he said that he never felt like he belonged anywhere all he knew was to run away from his problems. He and Sanem are finally happily married, and they have their dream family after all the things that tested their love. Sanem is Can's lighthouse, safe port and anchor. Sanem the "Daydreamer" is anchored to reality by Can. They truly are two halves of a whole.

did you notice...when he dreamed of the bed and the three children, the location was in a field of yellow flowers....it's the same place where sanem and yighit picked flowers, where the hut was near.....in the fan fiction book found on amazon kindle, the detail describing the field is lovely. there are two books......and they wrap up what the series didn't.

after... an entire week of no sleep and nonstop watching, i honestly want it to go on, This series was so beautiful.

What a massive difference in Darren’s reaction from when Ceyda came looking for can when they were partying in the office, Derren went with Ceyda and slagged off sane but now she’s like yeah they are back together and we will talk business next week! 😂😂😂👍👍👍 Ayseh s face when Derren told her about them being back together was priceless! Derren was sold short by the writers as she deserved her happy ending with Bulut who they just said he left this morning when things the night before had been good with Can coming home from hospital! He was carrying Derren around and dancing all the time, they should at least have shown them at the wedding together! And why weren’t Aziz and Huma back for cans wedding!?

You truly bring your character to life, every emotion is clearly visible. It is impossible not to believe that you and Sanem are lovers in thus production.. Kudos to everyone one involved in making utvt h e tremendous success it was.

Wish the ending wasn't so rushed! Would have loved to see the wedding ceremony. Will miss watching this show everyday, fantastic acting all around! Well done cast and crew!

Have you watched Dolunay? It has Can, Leila (she's awesome on this series by the way) & a really cute boy named Bulut. Not as good as Erkenci Kus(IMO) but very close. Can plays a totally different character which he plays very well. Worth watching.

I thought "Knock on my Door" was great........ Early Bird is one of the best series. I've laughed, scream, cried even felt the love in this series. Can Yaman and Demet Ozdemir has reached the hearts of people as far as Trinidad in the West Indies. I will be rewatching these series in years to come. I'm addicted to the Turkish series now.......... BEST EVER!!!!!

Where can I watch knock on my door with English subtitles

This is the ending that all of us wanted, but I wish the last part of the series wasn't so rushed. From when Can lost his memory to this part was so rushed that it was hard to believe that Sanem won't be compassionate and gracious to Can's brain injury and expect him to snap back to his original self in two episodes. Then another two episodes where Can chases Sanem, and Sanem refuses to entertain anything with him and rehashes old stuff. And then in one episode we have reconciliation, memory return, engagement, marriage, trip around the world, and kids. For all the misery the writers put Can and Sanem through, they could have given us more than one episode to show us a world of Canem that was now full of everything they wanted instead of a few minutes.

@thepoperah29 I agree with you! I know we are all happy for the ending because they ended up together by marriage, but the happy rushed ending personally, wasn’t rewarding! The agonizing moments watching the rollercoasters of Sanem’s and Can’s relationship outweighed the rushed and short and unexpectedly very lifeless simple wedding of them was a disappointing, not fulfilling! In fairness to the casts . They’re all brilliant , especial mention to Sanem and Can, their performance was outstanding, can’t be topped nor equalled, and their chemistry are superb, on fire🔥💥✨❤️❤️ Deren, despite her character, definitely/convincingly given her role justice and nailed it! She’s a darling🥰 To the writer/s, big thanks for sharing your intelligence to put this romance/comedy together to better enhance/broaden our understandings the complexity of a romantic relationships, and life itself, and your wisdom to navigate and handle the situations with a positive end result.👏👏💥 Congratulations 👏✨💥❤️

there is a book, both kindle and hardback...called THIS IS ONLY THE BEGIN. STORY OF A NEVER UNTOLD ENDING and it's the story of what happens after Can and Sanem marry, what happens to all of the characters. i am reading it and so far, it's delightful.

I'm put off by the actual title making no sense in English! Some of the reviews on Amazon say that whole book makes no sense to English readers. I'd love to read some fan fiction but I'd want it to be able to understand it..

Me too 1st time was all in Turkish and then English subtitles.. I personally don't like dubbing, so Thank you for doing a tremendous job. At times I felt my heart break for them the drama was that good but oh boy the laughter was phenomenal. The acting is absolutely the vest I have ever ever seen.. The music fabulous and the Director, script writers wow.. The Chemistry with all the Actors but Demet and Can nothing like it.. This series got me threw one of my worst times in my life but it gave me guts to get out of my box and enjoy life and fitness again, Thanks to watching Demet and her fitness and Dancing and Can for his fitness. This series motivated me so much at a young 57yrs. Even my sons and their wives love it and back to fitness.. So motivating to remember to love and have fun when times get hard work through it and be honest.

I’m so glad that this was the first every Turkish drama I’ve decided to watch. It was well worth the 161 episodes 😅 I not only fell in I’ve with the main characters but the minor characters too. This show was filled with so much laughter, fun and sadness. Love Can and Sanem. Can Yaman had a very special way of evoking various emotions through his eyes and I love him and his character. His portrayal as Can is superb. Now off to watch his other dramas. I’ll definitely recommend this to my friends. Thank you for uploading this with decent subtitles 🥰🥰🥰🥰

I absolutely agree with how Can Yaman shows so many emotions through his eyes, a lovely lovely man from the top of his head ( gorgeous hair ) all the way down to his feet ( looked so good in the boots he wore ). I do prefer Ekenci Kus to the other previous series he’s been in but what I wish that KZread would show with English subtitles is his Italian series Viola Come Il Mare. Totally different character for him playing a policeman but having seen the snippets on KZread his voice is amazing in Italian. Please everybody keep asking for this series to be on KZread.

I have seen 3 different series with Can Yaman...but nothing reaches the chemistry that Can and Demeti shared in the Early Bird series. Mr.Wrong with Can Yaman is a good one to watch. Can Yaman is such a talented actor!! And his eyes and facial gestures are so expressive. I hope and pray that someday he will find true love for real. Your the BEST Can Yaman!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The blooming love & intimacy btween the 2 lead actors spilling on many of their scenes certainly contributed to the phenomenal success of this romcom series. It resulted to their amazing, stupendous, sexy chemistry that captured so many hearts all over the world. It made them look so sweet, natural and unscripted- perhaps needing no script at all and just improvised based on their feelings & what they felt was needed for such scenes, making them so astoundingly real, spontaneous & mesmerizing one forgets it's just for show. Except for some impractical parts, excessively unending poisonous schemes against can & sanem, too much stressful screaming and screeching at work scenes, the unexposed schemes of yighit and mrs.huma and a shouting angry sanem during can's marriage proposal in the final episode ( it destroyed what could have been a magical, very important and much awaited moment) 😅, it was all so lovely and feel- good it even makes u wish these 2 could have taken a few pages from their story lines as pointers in handling their own relationship issues. They could have learned from the problems and pressures experienced by their characters and applied it to their own private issues. "Love won't freeze, it will melt the ice. That is, IF the love is TRUE". How it could have been different.😊 But with all that have transpired since then, i can only shake my head in bittersweet wonder whenever i rewatch my favorite episodes. If onlys.. Anyways, i am still addicted to these super successful love story that after 4- 5 years is still currently spreading globally. That's why it's no wonder that the CANDEM tandem is still conquering so many hearts and fans and will continue to do so. I will always love this beautiful love story that triumphed over so much adversities. So haunting & poignant, that we wish even real love stories followed a formula and ended happily ever after.😂 Even for the 2 stars in it who also deserve their own happiness. But in real life, no matter how well meaning, we can only wish.. Thank you for Erkenci Kus!! Baya, baya, baya much love! ❤❤❤

@LynValentin - to continue; screaming scenes had me yelling for people to shut up, especially Deren. Clapped for joy when Aylin and Fabbri both were arrested. Wanted to wring Huma and Yigit's necks and was so angry that Can didn't learn of his mother's part in keeping him and Sanem apart. In the end Yigit got his by loosing Sanem's friendship and having to give up publishing her books. The final chapter was disappointing because we do not see their wedding nor do we get to see them trying to keep up with three babies, which I think would have terrific and very funny. All in all this is as you say, a very wonderful and heart warming story, acted perfectly by two very talented performers.

Without Jan and Sanem ,early bird wouldn't be interesting see how happy the agency ,fam and community are from the moment they reconciled

I will never get tired of watching this series over and over again, what a happy ending,team Canem forever, much much love and appreciation from Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪

I literally cried watching this last episode...😭🥺 This is my third Turkish series that I'm watching and I think Erkenci Kus is gonna remain my favourite one.. 😍❤️ Both Can and Demet portrayed their roles so well... 💯💯 Be it Sanem portraying her madness, funny side or even her mature and understanding side and also her acting after the one year old gap... Goshhh... how can somebody act so perfect!?! Wooww.. a brilliant performance by Demet..💯🥰 Also Can acting.. the way he says Boraa Boraa... He being the Albatrosse.. they are just perfect.. Their Chemistry.. the way they fight with each other.. the way they understand each other, stands by each others side.. I can just go on with the list..... Not to miss the other casts.. be it Mevkibe with her silent treatment.. JJ and Muzu's friendship, Deren's way of handling things, Emre and not to forget Leila.. This is the only series I never got bored with even though it's this long. I have been watching it from the first episode to this ending.. and it's all worth it. Thanks for the translator, too. I was able to understand every scene. The best Turkish drama-comedy series ever! ♥️ from 🇵🇭

This story really was something else omg I’m laughing and crying at the end 😂. Even through all Sanem and Jan differences they love each other for who they are and after everything they’ve been through the have came out together in the end. I can’t get over this couple or the show honestly the story was just so beautiful I’m addicted ✨thank u so much for posting there story and taking time and translating it for everyone !!💗

It is 3:30AM, and I am officially finished watching this series. 😭 I was not ready for it to end, but this journey was AMAZING! I admire Early Bird (Day Dreamer) and realize why it is so successful. It is not just a love story with its ups and downs. Still, because of one's passion and love of life and nature (with perfume made from wildflowers), Early Bird delivers confidence, creativity, and teamwork and emphasizes the importance of women in the workforce and as entrepreneurs, all while telling a compelling love story. It has a deeper meaning for me. The three campaign scenes that exemplify women are the Labour/Workforce Campaign, the Sports Campaign, and the Cosmetics Campaign, where Sanem's (Demet) confidence invites, welcomes, and reminds women how important they are and to never give up on their dreams. Focusing on women in the various campaigns changes a typical comedy and romantic love story into significance. Sanem's passion for writing also revealed her confidence and philosophical awareness, yet she believed in fairytales. Lastly, I applaud the respect for women these Turkish series display with sensual scenes. The intrigue is with imagination. Proper clothing, hairstyle and makeup makes a woman beautiful; not scantilly clad women. Turkish women are beautiful. Their makeup is perfect, not too much or too little. The clothing reveals their glamorous shapes without revealing too much. The love scenes push us to use our imagination. Kudos to the Turkish series I have seen so far.

Not too much makeup? They are wearing too much makeup. You just cannot see it. Some of the women were wearing clothes inappropriate to work, including Sanem.

But Polen n Aylin's make up are heavy. Their fashions are far not appropriate for even office work. Too short for my liking. Emre at long last steered away from Aylin n married Leyla. Happy ending for 2 brothers married 2 sisters. ❤😊 from Melbourne Australia ❤️ 🇦🇺 ♥️ 😍 💕. I watched it countless times and still going strong. I watched others but always come back.

@phetnantharath5293 I like and respect your opinion. The makeup on the women, I found to be heavy in some instances and not in other instances. I enjoy the story. Emre and Leyla were beautiful together. I'm guilty of watching Early Bird baby times.

Loved this to bits and I'm devastated that I binge watched 161 episodes and will have to rewatch because this will forever hold a special unforgettable place in my heart and watching once just won't be enough as I loved it that much. They make such a gorgeous family! So believable how they are parents looking after their kids and yet still so very much in love. Can playing and chasing them and looking like the most amazing daddy and Sanem such a cool beautiful mum, playing and still looking at each other with pure adoration!! What a awesome ending! Time to start from the beginning again now!!❤❤

Wonderful series. I wish the ending hadn’t been so rushed. Would have loved to have seen their traveling the world adventures. Would have loved a wedding whole wedding scene.

unneccessary scenes in the last 5 episodes,it would have been better if they focused on Jan regaining his memory using the things that connects him to Sanem for example the scarf,the bday gift of sanem,the engagement ring,the perfume,the first kiss etc.etc. They focused on the ads of the agency which is really unneccessary. I would love also if they make a whole wedding scene,with all the cast attending like Ayhan,Osman,Guliz, Aziz,Huma etc. And glimpses of their world tour. Oh well🤷🏼‍♀️ Over all I love this series❤👌

Yes I felt they rushed the ending too! So sad that we didn’t see other characters story arch’s finished too , like Derren and Bulut , Ayhan and JJ , Muzzo and Denise and Osman settled with a lovely woman and kids! , why wasn’t Aziz and Huma at their son’s wedding? Why did we not see Leyla and Emres kids etc . Yes we spent so much time on Yigit and Polens book and Cans memory loss was spread out too much I feel yet they met, got back together , got engaged and married all in one episode! Still love the show though ❤❤ 6:23

Each script would suit. But not the memory-loss, please . It reminds of old Brazilians serials. It was really weird Again agency, again another girl…noooooo.. it was fault of script-writers

I watched so many times this series, I can say it’s superb. Best Drama series in television, Best Performance, Best actors and actresses, Best Director, Best Film, Best Producer, Best sound effects, Best story, Best cinematography , everything was wonderful , and now we all can Daydream .

I must admit though, having a year or more in-between seeing again, I did forget a few bits and bobs and so that was kinda exciting to see again. I wish they would make another series of how they are now. Perhaps about their travels around the world 1st before the triplets arrived.

@@samanthawalker4171 Yes, I could watch them do anything forever. I usually stay away from super long dramas, but would have loved the last 15 or so episodes to be more fleshed out and extended. Too bad the writers had to do a sloppy wrap up due to low ratings.

I didn't want this series to end. There are so many emotions! I love the song playing at the wedding. All the main characters were this until the very end: JJ, Derin, Emire, Muzu, Leiyla among others.

I'm really annoyed that they didn't give Emre and Leyla full closure. They made a big scene with Emre doing the "baby proposal" and them trying to find themselves own home. But then forget it all and not show us them actually moving out off Leyla's parents house and starting a family.

Beautiful story, I loved every bit of it. However I agree that there are some lose ends that needed to be tied, like: what was with those bottles that Sanem through into the ocean?, what happened to Ayhan?, will Emre and Layla start a family too?, will Sanem and Can go to the place where the two rivers meet?

@@vanessas2454 Heh, I actually didn't care to know what was with those bottles. It got me so mad how she was just trashing the ocean with plastic waste. I wish they hadn't done that. But yeah, the whole other half of the show after the one year timejump was just weird. I mean who the hell is Denise? If anyone should have been there to be a "mental coach" or whatever to Sanem, it was Ayhan. But no, they had to bring this Denise character, she was a total waste of a character. Also didn't like Mehriban at all, I found myself having more understanding for Huma in the end than this Mehriban, who was just holding on to old grudges and blaming Huma for everything, like the cottaga fire. And SHE was there at the wedding for Can, and not Huma and Mr. Aziz. Ridiculous. Also Ayhan not at the wedding.... And I think that they deleted some storylines with Leyla and Emre in favour of Sanem and Can in the end. I read that, while this series was on air, a lot of Canem fans were angry that Leyla and Emre were the happy married couple and demanded that they be shown less, which is just ridiculous since Sanem and Can dominated practicly the whole show. Which of course is understandable since they were the main characters but seriously they can't start a story with Leyla and Emre and just forget about like they did. No update ever on the baby and them having their own home. So I think the fan outrage had something to do with it, the writers gave in to the demands and pushed Leyla and Emre to the side. A that's sad cause I was more invested in LeyEm than Canem. Sanem and Can just had the same storyline done for five times: They meet, the fall in love, they break up. Then they got back together only to break up again. Then they get back together again only to break up again with Can leaving for a year. He then comes back and they do the same dance again...will they or won't they. Then they tease us again...oh they are gonna kiss, no they're not, yes they are, nope not yet. Then they get back together again and BOOOOM, a car accident. Can loses his memory and then they dance again... will they or won't they. Finally together. The end. After a few times, it just get's a bit boring... LOL. Oh God, this was a long reply. Hope you managed to read it through. LOL

Erkenci kuş is the best of all the Turkish series that I have seen. 😁👍❤ It's fun, it's light-hearted, the characters are lovable, the actors are wonderful. Can and Demet create a great, unforgettable couple! The excellent music, script, photography and direction achieved a spectacular story.

How JJ and Muzu worries Derin is something else 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤.Such an awesome performances❤❤❤. Kudos to all the crew🎉🎉🎉🎉😊

Even though this is the second time around watching their story; hearing the doctor at 25:25 say what he did, and then to see the look that crossed Can's face..was so amazing for many ways. I went all giggly and excited again for them. And btw, reports have come out in America that they are back together and buying a house?? True or not, I don't know; but they are each others Albatross, forever destined to come back to each other. But I do think they brought children into their story a bit too soon. Would have loved to see more of just their story about their trip and life together, first. The ending felt just too rushed through.

I found this series by accident. I saw a FB reel with Can Yaman. I had no idea who he was, but that particular reel exuded a powerful energy about him. That attracted my attention. Long story short I wrote a Pirate novel and many people have asked me if my novel was turned into a movie what young actor would I want to play the lead character. I had no answer because until I saw that reel, I couldn't think of any actor that had the kind of energy I would want to play my character, until 3 weeks ago. I put this series on with the intention of watching one episode and it pulled me into the proverbial rabbit hole and down I went for 161 episodes. There were times I laughed and laughed, times I wanted to shake the two of them, times when I became angry with some of the characters, and times I cried. The entire cast was amazing and I really cared about them. The chemistry of Can and Demet was beyond amazing and you could feel the energy between them. They should truly work together again at some point. Now that I binge watched it, I will need to watch it again because this was truly one of the best things I have ever watched.

This series stole my heart 😍 I love can and demet. They’re such a good actors. The whole cast superb. Behind this series, the writer is awesome! The lines, words will hit your heart. All your emotions will bring out to this series. Big thanks to the translator too. I watched this over and over. I am going crazy ?🤣

This series changed my life. I’ve had Turkish friends my whole life but this show made me fall in love with everything Turkish. I’m even learning it atm! The characters were just beautiful and Can And Demet had the most amazing chemistry. Not sure if the rumours were true that they were in a relationship at the time, if not then it’s the best acting I’ve ever seen! I’ve laughed cried and felt the heartache from many scenes. My favorite part of the show was after she broke up with Can a year later where Sanem was living on the farm. She was just so beautiful, broken and fragile. I don’t think I will ever see a show like it again. Love from your fans in Oz 🇦🇺😍

Creepy Yigit for example stayed way too long in the serie, so they couldn’t skipped him earlier. Maybe the writers can make a new serie about that time, it sure will be great 👌🙏🥰😍❤️💕

I came here from a clip on an add that was promoting online books, and ended up with an amazing serie that gave me several sleepless nights and an emotional rollercoaster… completely in love with the characters, and the actors… everyone made me feel something towards their characters, from the laugh to the hate and they felt real… Thank you!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 And all my heart to the translators because without them couldn’t have been possible to understand anything 😅 Thank you so much..!!! Oh my heart!! This beautiful show swept me away and I binge-watched the entire series -three times - without a break! 🫢As soon as I finished it once I wanted to go back to the beginning again- and again. The characters are so endearing and masterfully portrayed by all. The moments when Nihat spoke about his daughters and his disappointments just broke my heart- I truly felt a father’s love and heartache. And the comedic antics of gorgeous Demet- oh my gosh - I laughed out loud so many times!! And of course the quiet power and veiled vulnerability that Can portrayed was just beautiful. Sigh! ❤ I loved every single sweet moment of this series. Oh and the director’s cameo appearance at the bathroom of the Sanem Cream launch party was just the icing on top. I like your comment and wrote one of my own quite sumilar. What I saw and felt was how Sanem and Can focused on women. It gave this amazing lovestory more importance by recognizing women. Sanrms campaign speeches really touched me.

Ufff...that's it then. I really don't know how to go on with my life now to be honest. For the last to weeks I was absolutely obsessed with this series and the love between Can & Sanem, I just couldn't stop watching from morning till night! Now I feel lost in some way because I was so deep into this whole story. 😔💔 Although I must admit, that I wished a few things would have been written differently in the storyline at the end...for example that the perfume made him remember as it was such a big thing in their relationship. And that he had used the former engagement ring with the moonstone for the proposal. Everything just seemed so rushed and I think they deserved better. But anyways...this series is pure gold and I'm so happy that I've found it! 🧡🧡THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TRANSLATION!🧡🧡

I have never seen a series like this "no words" to expain my feelings . I watched in with in 3 days couldn't stop watching i didn't sleep.🥰🥰🥰

Beautiful series❤️❤️❤️ It won over my heart!! Absolutely loved it!!! The romance and comedy 10/10!!! I only wished the ending wasn’t so rushed, the memory loss was so unnecessary.. and so many amazing characters were left with no follow up like Osman, Ayhan, Guliz, Ahylin and many others just disappeared like Bulut and Denise.. also his parents not present in the end? Emret and Leyla still living in the house, no kids, no car? Deren, Muzo and JJ all alone.. we never found out where JJ was from? I feel like it had much more potential but nevertheless it was great!!! I will start watching it from the beginning to fall in love with it all over again😉😍🥰❤
