The Tompkins Twisty Woo Woo machine. It was invented by Mr. Arthur Tompkins of Briantspuddle, Dorset in 1820 and was powered by a Rover V8 engine.
It is seen on it's maiden flight, flying over Fort Doyle on Guernsey's north east corner, during 1820, when the Guernsey Militia manned the fort.
Of course, this was all thought up in my head and isn't necessarily true.
